Super 8 Corpus Christi2.0 out of 5.0

The lady that checked us in was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about things to see in Corpus Christi. I asked for a handicapped room, and I was impressed with the way the bathroom was set up. No problem getting a wheel chair in there. Plenty of room. The breakfast was not what I usually get at a Super 8 Motel. I thought the price for the room was a little high for the part of town it was located in.
We stayed for 5 nights and it wasn't worth it. Overpriced for the area when compared to what it had to offer and what we received. No hot water at all. Bathroom toilet was broke at the bottom. We had the heater on in the bathroom one day and that warped the bathroom door so bad that it wouldn't shut again. Pool wasn't maintained daily and there was debris from the trees piling up. The breakfast was weak. Cereal, day old mini cinnamon buns, eggo waffles. We stayed at another super 8 on our way back in Joplin MO and it was really good, and I paid $20 less per day. If you can find another place in the area, do so. If it's just for one night, it's ok. Wifi was a weak signal in the room and didn't work at all at their pool. Check-in was a bad score because our check in was at 3pm. We got there at 3:30pm and had to wait 15-20minutes so they could ready the room. So not sure what the point was to have a 3pm check-in.
Was ok..way to pricey for the location it is in. Much better locations charge less and are newer. But would stay again.
I've been staying at La Quinta down the street for many years. I usually stay 2-3 times a week. A couple of weeks ago I couldn't get in to La Quinta so I came here. WOW! Amazing service, room is updated and very clean. And to top it off...I got a better rate. I'm SOLD, when in Corpus Christi I'm staying at Super 8, 902 Navigation Corpus Christi, Texas. Thank you Super 8!
The a/c didn't cool the room. I wish I could have got a late check out since I didn't get to the hotel till 3am in the morning
This place was a good rate at best. The interior was dingy and the exterior was literally roach infested in the breezeways. What is up with these places, no one even greats you anymore to make you feel welcomed or thanked for your business.
Was going to stay 2 nights but only stayed 1. First showed up and saw how badly the property looked on the outside. Got out of my vehicle, walked inside to inquire about the room. Right off the bat the manager starts telling me I can't smoke in the room. I told him I never smoke inside or even in my vehicle. He proceeds to tell me he's heard that from other people. I said well I'm not other people or a liar. It was so completely rude and unprofessional for him to come at me like that. The price was ridiculous for hotel and location, paid $129 before pet fee and taxes all because of selena festival. He wouldn't allow me to use my discount either because it was a weekend. He was not welcoming at all. I really didn't want to stay even one night because price and how he acted with me. After checking into room was just ok. Very old and dark and dingy but it was clean is all I can say. The breakfast is lousy too, coffee and juice mostly and he expects you not to take that to your room either. No where to really walk a dog was another thing. So that next morning I decided to take my chances somewhere else and was glad I did. Will never stay there again or recommend.
The motel was a standard overnight traveling motel just for staying the night. Corpus Christi is a busy town and a lot of fun to visit which means you won't spend a great deal of time in motels. It was clean and a decent breakfast and had no problems.
We stayed for a concert at Shoreline area. Location is great. As soon as we opened the door, it smelled moldy and musty. The towels obviously needed to be replaced. They were extremely rough. The pillows smelled and were small. The landscaping needed attention. Dead plants around the premises. Overall, we were just happy about the location
While the hotel is in a good location to where we were working, the pictures provided online are very deceiving. Hotel is run down and old.
