It’s clean and good location. The staff was very nice.

The room was a lot nicer than I expected. It was very clean and the AC was very cold. The front office and restrooms were nice and clean as well. The front office also offers towels for the beach. Staff was nice and helpful. The only thing that wasn't the best was that check in was at 4pm and kind of expensive, other than that this place was great!

Great budget place to stay that’s very close to the beach and restaurants! Place is super popular so be ready to deal with crowds at the pool and grill areas. Fairly quiet for the amount of families that stay here.

Pool area was nice. Loved the cabana areas next to pool. Rooms have all been redone since Hurricane Harvey. AC units worked very well. Breakfast was good, but crowded. It is the busy season however, so that isn’t a complaint. Everything worked as expected in the rooms. The room had a very nice TV and it was a smart TV so we were able to utilize our Netflix accounts, etc. Hotel is located close to everything you would need in Port A. I mean, everything is just a block or two away in Port A. I would definitely come back again. My complements to the renovations that were done. The prices for the stay were very reasonable compared to other locations.

My husband and I checked in .. the Assistant Manager Amanda was AWESOME SAUCE .. fun sweet kind and very welcoming.... HOWEVER .. upon checking in .. we decided to extend our stay .. the night shift guy .. with a language barrier by the name of David.. was persistent on trying to get another $100.00 cash deposit.. when I spoke to management. She said she would speak to the employ because there was ALREADY A CASH DEPOSIT ON FILE ... then we wanted to extend for 1 more day checking out Saturday.. we we were rudely told by the SAME EMPLOY David.. that at 11am we were DONE and we needed to get the hell out as if we were bad tenants... And that they were full for the night... When I spoke to management SHE HERSELF said if we weren't there to get our belongings at 11 am check she would go in there and pack our stuff herself... MIND YOU I AM 45 MINUTES AWAY FROM THE HOTEL.. I was handling very important business and was not going to be back in time.. I tried to get a late check out.. and offered to pay extra.. and the DENIED ME OF THAT THREATENING ME.. the hotel manager is very prejudice against blacks and my husband is black and I am of white decent.. then we forgot a charger wire in the room and went back for it... Figured we get a little ice while we were there.. and was greeted by the same hotel manager with heron the phone with 911 TELLING THEM WE WERE THREATENING HER... a guest there invited us to get ice .. and opened the door for us . Gave us a small bucket to use..

It was a amazing stay quiet clean friendly we will be staying again for sure

Hotel staff was very friendly the room was neat and clean and the breakfast was a different veraity everyday which was awesome. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Thank you for sharing your comments so we can reply to you. Firstly, at no time were we rude or disrespectful to you or your guest. We have no race barriers and love diversity at our hotel. We employ all races and all genders that are highly skilled and professional at all times. It is unfortunate that you are apparently upset because you failed to make proper arrangements for your stay on a weekend we were sold out. You demanded that you had "exclusive rights" to our room and insisted that you were not leaving. Unfortunately when people have made reservations in advance and no rooms are available for extensions, current guests that are scheduled to check out, must check out at the agreed upon time. At no time did you ever request to pay extra (which is not offered because we are not a "pay by the hour" hotel) or request a late check out, or that may have been granted. Our services are for registered guests and that evening, when you returned to pick up the charger left behind you proceeded to park in the back of our hotel and enter our vending area. We do take our guest safety and security serious at all times. You were not a registered guest and we had every right to question your business on property. At no time did another guest invite you to use our facility's or offer you a "bucket" to put ice in, you were using a "bait bucket" and no key is required to gain access to that area. At no time was any one ever on the phone with our local police department because they were in fear of their lives although they have every right to call for assistance at any time they are threatened by anyone. It is truly unfortunate that you are upset and seeking to harm us in this way however, we have a great staff, awesome service and treat all our guest with the respect they deserve.
