I must first remind that you truly do get what you pay for, so for $70. a night, I probably got my moneys worth. Top to bottom: the person that checked me in was flirtatious, annoying, unprofessional & took more time making me cringe than checking me in.
The room: The bed seemed clean, no hairs, no stains, no bad smells, it was firm but I was comfortable. The towels smelled clean & I used them. The table had food smears on it. The fridge was very dirty & not cold enough to keep my milk palatable. Sink, tub, toilet were clean enough;
no obvious mess. The floor was NOT clean, not including the expected sand. It smelled like there might have been dog poop on the floor under the table. I mopped the floor with a clean towel, and it was very dirty! (Again, NOT talking about the sand.) There was a faint odor by the sink area, that smelled like it had been wiped down by a dirty towel. I did clean the whole room, to MY standards, before moving in. Very basic coffee pot & coffee. (Did not use) The a/c worked very well! I did not use the TV.
Parking is very limited. Pool looked clean. Housekeeper (Kat?) was friendly. And...No breakfast, but I would definitely recommend this property. The good far outweighed the not good. I stayed 2 nights and would have stayed longer. Also... there is a big Speedy Stop within walking distance, and tons of eating options nearby. I Love the Asian buffet called “China A”, “Charlotte Plummers” (FRESH seafood) and ”Mac’s BBQ”.
