Hotel Corpus Christi Bayfront

Rooms need thorough cleaning, especially the carpets/elevators...lobby and common areas also. Update furniture and bathroom. Staff was courteous and helpful. Continental breakfast should have hot food, and additional juices. Paying for parking is not acceptable anymore. At room check-in, there was 1 trained person checking in over 30 people in line. The only other helper was a trainee. I arrived at 8:30pm and eventually got my room at 11pm.

The hotel is older but always clean and welcoming, this time they let us check in two hours early and we were upgraded to a jr suite, it was a nice room with an excellent view. As always friendly staff, the pool was clean and was nice to take a late afternoon swim. Will stay again next trip.

Room was somewhat clean did find some pixie stick wrappers on the floor by the bed. Also did see a few cockroaches. This is an older hotel.

Very disappointed in bayfront bed bugs rooms were dirty staff was rude no help at all...

Checking in and out was a breeze. The front desk employees were friendly and informative. In and out parking privileges are provided for $10. We had a newly renovated room with a great view. However, the room wasn't up to par when it came to cleanliness. The shower had dirt on the floor, the bath towels had hairs on them and the sink was nearly coming off the wall. Upon inspection of the bed I encountered a few hairs. The pillows were slightly yellow as well, but the sheets were clean and void of stains. Overall it was a decent hotel for a good price.

This is an older hotel but with the price and location, Corpus Christi Bayfront was nice, the view, middle of downtown, and a great price for what you get. Will be coming back

Given it is a older hotel. It is not that bad. Plus is being right there close to shoreline. Can walk everywhere. Hallways were hot. Room we stayed in wasn't renovated so it was okay. Quiet hotel no issues. would definitely come back.

Loved the wonderful staff and the convenience of beach and restaurants available both at the hotel and walking distance.

Outdated, fleas in carpet, no bath towels, was told by staff that we should have gone downstairs to get towels

It's very very old dirty and just plain disgusting . The shower was dirty stained towels stained . Horrible maid service . You had to pay to park !!!! The hotel is falling apart literally !!!

check in was almost an hour wait with a paid reservation and you had to pay for parking.

This hotel wrong infirmation from staff and nanagers, hidden fees and u oay to oark while you stay

I thought this would be a great hotel because of the character of the hotel and has been in business for so long but my stay has been awful .. I understand we are by a bay, but we found Cockroaches all over our room !

Could never find staff, room clean, old and out dated, major fire Hazards in room with electrical outlets, the Continental breakfast was a joke, the hotel smells like raw sewage gasses, worst as you get closer to the bar, the extra charges I was not informed of when I reserved the room, and the grounds around the hotel were nasty

While this hotel was in a great location, it left much to be desired. It smelled old and moldy, was in disrepair in many areas including the rooms, bathrooms and hallways. The tile and porcelain was chipped and there was no central air. The room was either too cold or too hot and damp. There were not enough staff to handle the cleaning, calls and emergencies and there was a shortage of pillows, towels and irons. The restaurant, gym and dining areas were under renovation and the entire building was dirty.

This hotel was built in 1912, and didn't seem to have been maintained since. The room was musty. The bathroom ceiling and walls were collapsing into the room. The iron was missing, but was replaced with a call to the desk. The evening desk clerk was extremely polite and helpful, as were the ladies working the breakfast bar. The building needs significant renovation before it is suitable for use as a hotel. The pictures online are either extremely old or have been retouched. We checked out after one night and found another hotel.

Heavy renovations and name changes from building, front doors etc. We and other guests had to inquire if this was indeed 601 N. Waters and was the Bayfront Plaza Hotel. Door said Bayfront Corpus Christi Hotel. Many areas not finished - no appologies from the clerk and TV remote that had to be changed twice (which they did). Toilet was "seated" with knees angled toward the wall making it very difficult to sit. All else ok.

The first room they gave me was hot, stinky and dirty. The bath tub was nasty. I requested another room and wound up paying another $46 to get an upgrade. The new room had a nice view but the air conditioner would not get cool. The hallways and elevator were dirty. I will never stay here again.

checked into hotel, went to room construction was going on?? never said that on Orbitz. paint fumes, mold nad mildew smell, dirty carpets. so immdiately checked out! tried to get a refund from orbitz and still ahve not gotten one! i am waiting. horrible. orbitz gave me the run around on a refund. please give the refund I did not stay there
