Days Inn Corpus Christi Beach

The hotel location was close to the beach and the room was decent, just smelled a tad like smoke. Unfortunately, my iPad was left in the room and I called just a couple hours later and every day for three days after for them to tell me housekeeping found nothing. There is no other option but that someone stole it from the room, and I hate to assume it was the staff, but it's hard not to. Very shady the way they treated the issue, barely giving me information and the same answer every time. Yes it was my fault for leaving it, but please be careful to not leave anything if you stay here because it will be gone forever in no time.

Noone bothered us room was comfortable, walking distance to beach and stores

Everything is fine, and the only things that are not so good is that the bathrooms in the hotel is old, and there are too many mosquitos

When we checked in, we couldnt go into our room because they were PAINTING!! they didnt offer us another room they told us to come back later. when we returned, the room was hot and musty smelling. the next morning we got up and got in shower, as soon as i got soap all over me, THEY TURNED OFF THE WATER!!! there was no warning, no call to the room or knock on the door at all!! my husband was sitting right there in the room and nobody came by at all. i had to rinse the soap off of myself with freezing cold water bottles from our cooler!! when we checked out the staff was rude about it and said how were they supposed to know i was in the shower......... thats why you call the rooms or knock on the doors and notify people that the water had to be shut off!!!!!!!!! on top of that the maintenance guys stood outside of our door using vulgar language for at least 30 min trash talking people for gettimg upset that they turned off the water without giving anyone warning! i wasnt the only one in the shower when the water got shut off!! it was a miserable experience and i wont stay there again! so much for a nice overnight get away for me and my husband!

i especially liked the convieniece of the way breakfast was already prepared and the way it was set up. the set up made it very convienint and fast to get in and out of there fast. only problem was table were not cleaned after each customer, and for this reason it would help to have wipes of something we visiters can use to wipe down our table before and after use. it would be nice to also have purrell hand disinfective available in that same area for customer use. In the start coming in we were greated well, but at the end some staff was not as friendly or courtious as to make us feel welcome and appriciated enough to want to return, but i'll give ya guys nother chance, she may have been busy or distracted. the rooms were very clean, best clean rooms i have seen. One place we went to (not days inn# actually hadn't changed the sheets as we found feces on the sheets, never go there again! Days Inn on the other hand, #runned by Americans) motel was great! Clean, big, bed comfortable, and had a great breakfast area and already prepared. Thnx. We will return.

Great location, easy to get to Corpus Christi downtown, right near the beach. Much safer area than actually being in Corpus Christi. Only complaints were I wished there were microwaves in the room. Having a fridge and no microwave seemed a little silly...though there was a microwave downstairs for guests to use. Also thought the elevator not being in use each night from midnight to 6am bizarre, especially being my room was on the 3rd floor. Not happy about the staff going into my room when I specifically told them I did not want them in there at all during the 3 days I was there as I was working nights and sleeping in the daytime. Still a decent hotel for the price. Clean, but could use some furniture upgrades. Like drawers that would open properly. Decently priced for location.

Did not even put our things in this room. Room was very unclean. Went right back down and requested a refund.

It was a good experience overall. Location of room was not ideal, but the hotel is short walking distance to the water, which is exactly what we needed. Staff was friendly and helpful in the knowledge of activities and places frequently visited by people that stay there. I wouldn't stay there again for first choice in that exact area, but for the price, it was definitely worth it.

The room was nice and very clean. only problem it was difficult to turn shower off and on but everything else was great.. Swimming pool was clean. The location was within a mile from major attractions. The staff was fantastic. Very nice and a great value! I would diffidently book again. This hotel set the stage for us to have a great time. The facility is older, but the beds and furnishings are acceptable. In fact, as hotel beds go, the bed was very comfortable. We had trouble with the electronic key/door mechanism, but when they couldn't fix it, they gave us a key (the old fashioned metal kind), so can't complain. The staff were all very friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast area does not have enough seating at peak vacation times and there is only one waffle maker, so wait times can be long. It's not too far from the sandy beach and the pool is nice. The elevator is slow; stairs are faster. There are several covered parking spaces. It's not the nicest motel we've stayed in, but is quite adequate for a beach motel.

The hotel was close to the ocean which was nice. Our hotel room had mold on the bathroom walls which made it feel dirty. The hot tub didn't work and the pool had algey growing on it. We were supose to stay 2 nights but we only stayed one.

The "value" of this hotel is not worth the headache. I NEVER give bad reviews but this is an exception. It was terrible. The only nice thing was they allowed us to check in an hour early. Entering our room there was a distinct putrid smell and holes in the dry-wall. Some patched others NOT. The safe, or what would have been a safe, had no door and was rusted. Fridge was rusted. Mold in phone book. We prepaid this hotel and are out $400 because we refused to stay there (with the exception of the first night as there was no vacancy anywhere else). [...]

The hotel wasn't even half as nice as the pictures made it out to be. It was pretty much a roach hotel. Breakfast was nasty and u had to ask for the staff to vacuum or clean your room. The staff was nice but thats about the only good thing about that place I don't believe I will be back.

The hotel has nice location, very close to Lexington carrier museum, but there're things that need improving. The rooms have bad sound isolation, you'll hear noises from next door. The lobby smells of Indian food. Room is clean but a little small, it's ok if you just need to sleep and can endure certain level of noise.

This was a great hotel choice for the money, it was within a short walking distance from the beach and a long walk to bars and restaurants at the lexington area. The hotel needed some maintenance, but rooms were clean and had been remodeled. Also had extras such as a safe and refrigerator.

The pictures must be of some other hotel. It was in a nice spot near the beach but I wouldn't ever stay there again. The bathtub was filthy, the floor was unsteady and looked like it was vacuumed last in 1957. I couldn't get the staff to give us extra clean blankets; they gave us a dirty one. The "continental" breakfast was cinnamon rolls and cold cereal.

good location, front desk not to friendly

Could be a great place to come back to,but it is becoming rundown like the rest of the area. They could become a model for the rest of the facilities in the area. I believe because of where they are they don't support from the Corpus Christy City. By looking around it's a shame. It could be a beautiful area.

I would like it better if the pool was a heated pool or unless the spa would be hot water
