The staff were professional, the property was spotless, the location could not be beat. Probably one of the nicest hotels that I ever stayed. The breakfast while not included was one of the beat For the cost, it was a real barainBravo!
As hotel is built close to the city wall many of the rooms do not have a view and it is difficult to even check the weather as the sky view is limited too. Good quality toiletries, free tea and coffee facilities in room plus drinking water. Quality hairdryer. Decor is rather tired and dated in the main building.
Location is perfect,in the old town but tucked away from the noise.Mezquita and the famous bridge are only steps away.Martires bus stop only about 300m away,so coming from and going to the railway station is very convenient.Clean and comfortable surely.Breakfast was excellent, large variety, also gluten free options.Everything was great, would have wanted to stay longer.Recommended!
Driving up the very narrow road leading to the hotel we were slightly worried we may arrive with a couple of tourists on the bonnet and a dozen bags from outside the shop hanging off our wing mirrors 😂 And then we arrived in the little square/ oasis of peace where the hotel is situated. Valet parked for us as we checked in and then it just got better and better. Room was great, bed large and comfy, bathroom enormous with all the extras you would expect in a top hotel provided. Little extra treats left in the room each afternoon were just a bonus, even gave us flip flops for the pool area Breakfast excellent with a great selection, couldn't fault. Several little courtyard sun traps to chill in, read or nap, all very quiet Special mention for Isabelle who seemed to work 27 hours a day and made the best gin and tonics ( and largest) in Cordoba. Thanks for a great stay, we would return in a heartbeat It is actually easy to find and a fun driving experience to arrive if you just follow the hotels spot on directions, see how many handbags you can get on your wing mirrors 😁😁
The ideal hotel to enjoy the Jewish Quarter and the Mezquita. It is a bit quaint, but modern, clean and comfortable at the same time. The service was flawless. Smaller repairs (squeaking door, fluctuating water temperature) would make it even better. One warning: The drive to the hotel trough a really narrow street is not for the fainthearted!
Beautiful hotel with many amenities. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Very friendly staff went above and beyond every step. Only downside is getting there by car - definitely an adventure down some very narrow streets filled with tourists.
This was my first stop of 4 hotels within Andalucía and 2 nights here spoilt me. Check-in excellent again staff were happy to oblige us practice with Spanish. They also have fresh water and sweets for you to help yourself to. The sangria in the bar / courtyard was welcome. Hotel is excellently situated for exploring the Jewish quarter or Mezquita. We parked in the public parking for Mezquita which is only a few minutes walk away. Our room was in an annex building across a cobblestone street and was quite and clean as you expect. Nice amenities and bathrobes with slippers provided. Breakfast was excellent if a little pricey but I think the quality and the availability right up until finishing time made it worth while.
great rooms and great location Very clean and quiet in the midst of the old town Easy to get to and gave good information for touristic attractions We recommend staying in this hotel if you want your vacation to be perfect
Construction and maintenance of the property were second rate. The room had no functional lock and the Woodwork was peeling plastic contact paper. We complainned and had our room changed. The location of the hotel is excellent for exploring the city. The guest service manager Elena apologized and was helpful with advice on restaurants.
Booked this hotel after doing a lot of research. It's in the center of the Jewish quarter of Córdoba. They have a back entrance than is along the walls. Quiet, clean and staff were excellent with sharing information. We booked the trip on May 1 which unfortunately is a public holiday so many places were closed or closed early never the less we were able to still visit the mosque cathedral and enjoy the feast of the crosses. Córdoba is an amazing city and would love to go back and enjoy more of the Moorish history. This hotel was a delightful haven in a cultural city.
