Great hotel, right in the middle of the old Jewish quarter and walking distance from anything you would want to visit. All the rooms that we saw appear to be very nice but they have offered us the "penthouse' room when we contacted them for not very much more money so we opted for that, private terrace etc. the staff were very helpful and pleasant
We loved this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The parking was a bit of a nightmare for my husband, it took him ages even following all the advice of the staff. But then it is a hotel tucked in the small streets of Cordoba. The atmosphere of the hotel was lovely with various little squares and courtyards and fountains and a swimming pool tucked in . The rooms were very nice and very Spanish. The breakfast was not special at all, but I would still stay here again.
Stayed for one night and couldn't have hoped for a better experience. Hotel is in a perfect location, courtyard is beautiful and room was spacious and elegant with excellent and pristine bathroom. Staff was also very nice. Would recommend!
We stayed here just for one night on our road-trip around Andalusia and in terms of hotels it was the highlight. Beautifully restored historic buildings with a secluded outdoor pool. The décor is luxurious and in keeping with the buildings themselves. The bathroom was lovely with robes and slippers. Everything was perfectly clean. Location-wise, this is right on the edge of the old town, so you can drive up to door and then reception arrange to park your car, and return it as you're checking out. From the hotel it's just a few minutes walk through the maze of tiny streets to the Mezquita and there are plenty of lovely bars and restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful - they provided a street map as we checked in and highlighted the key attractions. One thing to note is we'd planned to stay the one night in Cordoba (a Monday) and reception advised us that unfortunately many of the places of interest (not the Mezquita) are closed on a Monday so bear this in mind as you plan your trip.
Loved the service, the ambience and the location of this lovely boutique hotel - fabulous experience with great service ! We loved the breakfast but wish they had pots of coffee rather than slow machines.
Las Casas de La Juderia is without a doubt one of the best and most interesting hotels, we have ever stayed in. The buildings have been beautifully restored and you really feel, that you stay at an authentic historic place. The combination of separate houses with interveening patios gives a palace-like feeling. We were upgraded and had a huge, beautifully decorated room. Buildings and patios are immaculately well kept, staff extremely kind, polite and helpful and service, for example valet parking of the car, first class throughout. In line with the quality of the hotel, breakfast is excellent. The location of the hotel right at the entrance to the jewish quarter could not have been better. And the price of accomodation? In our view not bad at all, considering what you get. Thus, five big filled circles from us - since the rating system does not extend further.
We absolutely loved this hotel! Our superior twin room had plenty of space, was nicely decorated and well kept. The staff was friendly and attentive and the location was excellent for seeing the main sites. Being a collection of connected houses there are lovely patios throughout, some with fountains and at least one rooftop patio as well as a pool (which I didn't visit). The hotel also has two honors bars where you can pour yourself a glass of wine, beer or soda and just write it down. I did not have breakfast there so can't speak to that but will definitely stay here again if I return to Córdoba and highly recommend to others.
Excellent hotel, excellent room, excellent service - excellent experience. A different type of hotel with a rich and long history. Beautiful , scattered, and quiet courtyard and fountains. An honor bar - which we frequented each evening - to wind down and relax. The rooms were large and well maintained. Bathroom facilities were excellent as well. The staff was very helpful and accommodating for whatever our needs including arranging for taxi service when we were leaving. The location in the old town made walking to the Mezquita, Roman bridge, old town restaurants easy. Five stars for this establishment - good job!
This hotel is a great place to stay in Cordoba, right next to the old quarter and just a quick walk to the Mezquita Cathedral, the old Jewish quarter. A big of a maze to navigate which makes it interesting to find your room, but a haven of tranquillity. The rooms are quite big and the bathrooms are great. Ours included a bath and a shower. Service was excellent and the staff were very helpful and very charming. Lots of places to eat around the hotel. The hotel breakfast was a large buffet with lots of choices. The hotel also has ruins in the basement from the Arab Bathhouse complex. Thoroughly recommend this hotel, even if it is a bit pricey. It also has a pool which is great to escape the heat in the afternoon.
This lovely hotel is about a 20/25 minute walk from the railway station and a stone's throw from the Mezquita Cathedral in the heart of the Old City. The hotel is a maze of courtyards and staircases with rooms all over the place. There is a lift up to the upper floor (a little adventure all it's own) with enough room for one big lad or his suitcase but not both. The reception staff are very friendly and efficient, there are jugs of cold water on reception all day, which is helpful. The room we had was appointed and the bed very comfortable. One of the mail patios includes the 'honesty' bar that is available from lunchtime to the mid-evening, with beer and wine available and you write your name and room number on the sheet for it to be charged. There is a similar arrangement with spirits in the lounge area, that is a lovely room even if the A/C is turned up to eleven. The pool is on one of the upper rear patios and unsurprisingly gets quite busy in the afternoons - the usual 'rules of the sun-lounger' apply with possession being 10-10ths of the law. Breakfast is taken in one of the lower rooms and is the usual continental fare, there is plenty of it though. The location of the Hotel is perfect, a few steps from the Alcazar, only a few more to the Mezquita and with the 'Patios' little further away. Thoroughly recommended.
