We arrived here at 2pm on a hot day and had a great afternoon relaxing in the heated pool and lying in the shade of lovely trees. Very easy negotiate the hotel but when we returned from the city at 11.30pm there was no bar open or coffee :( In the rooms you have to have the room lights on to use the reading lamps, a lot of waste of electricity. No tissues and basic bathroom supplies.
My wife and I stayed here for a few nights whilst visiting Córdoba in December. The hotel is well situated near the outskirts of the main city where it's a peaceful and quiet. Really good location if you have access to a car. The room we stayed in was average but you get what you pay for. There was an issue of out room having a power cut whenever we plugged the iron in so we had to plug it into the bathroom socket to avoid this problem. Biggest issue with the room would be that the king size bed is 2 single beds put together. You can imagine this being a problem when sharing a bed and falling down the middle half way through the night. The breakfast was nice with a decent variety of food. Really enjoyed the eggs!
We stayed at the Eurostars Las Adelfas for 2 nights as part of a 6 day tour of Southern Spain. This hotel was fairly average. It did the job considering we only actually came back to the hotel to kip at night. We didn't have time to explore the hotel grounds or pool area but the rooms were a decent size. Breakfast was ok too. The biggest downside to our stay was the fact that we were given a room with 2 single beds rather than a double/king size. We joined the 2 beds together but it called for a very very uncomfortable nights sleep. Overall, the hotel is OK if you're only staying for a couple of nights and not spending too much time indoors!
Hair on the bathroom floor and noisy rooms. Complained about both. Was told the bathroom would be cleaned by housekeeping (never was) and the noise would die down and we would have to wait. The only good thing about this place was that the manager let us cancel a day ahead of time when we requested to do so. If you want a clean bathroom and if hair erks you out, look elsewhere to stay in Córdoba. Other eurostar properties in the same area are just as expensive and so much better!
Checked in this evening for 2 nights, was looking forward to having a work out but the gym is not located in the Hotel, it's down the road. Not convenient. Whilst it all looks a nice hotel, there's nothing but noise travelling through the place, people walking up and down the corridor. Walls are thin you can hear the taps running, people in the room above, not ideal for trying to get a good nights sleep.
We spent our first two nights here during a week long heritage tour of Southern Spain. Arriving at the hotel, it seemed to be in an oasis of calm set amongst exotic trees. We were welcomed at reception and given directions to our rooms which were simple and functional, pleasant surprise to see the inclusion of a bidet in the bathroom! We had dinner at a local restaurant but experienced pretty good breakfast meals in the hotel - there were a variety of buffet options available, however I would recommend having more hot vegetarian options. Having refreshing fruity drinks on offer in the lobby was a nice touch! Views around the hotel were lovely, we really enjoyed sitting out front and walking around to the pool area. We had made use of the meeting rooms which were decent. For a 2 night stay in Cordoba, it was ideally located to get around to various sightseeing spots.
Uncomfortable rooms, no seating in room whatsoever. Very hard beds. Poor dining vacilities and mediocre menu. But I guess you get what you pay for - it was cheap. The location is outside of Cordoba so took taxi to visit centre. Mosque is magnificent.
The rooms are fair sized and provide all standard comforts of four-star hotel. Some guests may find the beds very firm. The desk staff is friendly and responsive: they quickly addressed a toilet issue in our room. The breakfast buffet is standard continental fare with limited hot dishes. The location is quiet but about 2 miles from the old town: a car is required to access the main attractions. There is some free parking at the hotel entry and further paid parking under the hotel.
We stayed in this hotel for one night , it is in a lovely area, very quiet at night. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The room was very clean and spacious, breakfast was a good choice of hot and cold buffet . The hotel has a free bus into Cordoba also which is very handy, a taxi back costs approx 10 euros. There is a good size car park . I would definitely stay at this hotel again .
Stayed in this hotel for two nights. The staff were all helpful and our accommodation on the second floor had nice views of the gardens. The breakfasts were a mixture of local and international quinine and the dining area pleasant and spacious. The hotel is located in an affluent area of the city but has an excellent bus service to the town centre and old quarter which has now Unesco status. Also close by is the site of Madinat al Zhara which is well worth a visit.
