Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort

On the beach for less

Hotel is on the beach which we loved and for less than many of the others, so we knew going in it probably would be less in other areas as well. It's in need of refurbishment in the room such as popcorn ceilings and worn older styling however, beds were comfortable. Staff was super accommodating with later check out per our circumstances and helpful with storing luggage. Pool area was enjoyed. Not a resort feeling but well worth the money they charged. We only stayed one night which we felt this hotel was great for.

Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort

Awesome hotel on the beach

I loved that the hotel was right on the beach/boardwalk. Everything is within walking distance. Also enjoyed the beach chairs/umbrella that were included in resort fee. If the beach is not for you, the property offers three pools each with their own pool bar.

Extended Stay America Fort Lauderdale - Deerfield Beach

Perfectly Fine

The room was very clean and everyone on staff was very nice. This was a pleasant surprise, given some of the negative reviews I saw.

Sea Club Resort

5 Stars for Value

I was suspicious. It had this 2.9 rating. But, traveling alone I can put up with a lot and the price, albeit post-hurricane Maria, was very low for a beachfront hotel, even for off season as is October. What a delightful surprise! Staff is very gracious, Kolleen and Liz will respond to your requests. Be prepared for a 59-year old property which has been remodeled but the bathrooms are mostly still dated. If you can't see the charm in clean rooms and baths which have some vintage (beds and furnishings are new) then you're better off spending a lot more money and going somewhere else. The facade is deemed historic and cannot be altered, and the extensive coral blocks used in construction are clearly running against present-day environmental sentiment. But it's a throwback to the time that this hotel ruled the beach, and when it comes to value and quality, it still does.
