Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Copenhagen

I was returning home from a week in Serrento and had a 16 hour layover in Copenhagen. I wanted to see Tivoli Gardens again, and this hotel is across the street from the Gardens. The train ride from the airport to the hotel was very convenient. I was able to tour the Gardens and enjoy a quiet dinner ( a delicious chef salad with a glass of wine) at the hotel. The bed was very comfortable. It was overall a great albeit short experience. I highly recommend this hotel if you ever visit Copenhagen.

Good location. Close to train station and Tivoli Garden. Walk to most sites

Convenient location to Tivoli Gardens. Clean room, nice gym facility.

Dusty and dirty Construction right in hallway Breakfast was great Understaffed Nice concierge but managers not problem solvers

The location of this hotel is great. It is just a few blocks away from the main train station. Only 1 block from Tivoli gardens. Most of the hotels in Copenhagen were pretty expensive and didn't look that great, so we spent a more to stay at a Radisson and were satisfied.

The hotel was wonderful! The hotel staff very helpful! Parking attendants were outstanding! Fluffy towels and wonderful bath tub after a long day and a walk from the hotel to Churchill park and tivoli gardens was a delightful relaxation. The only problem for this high price room it did not come with breakfast. Bad assumption in my part, I guess

all was very good...but roof top restraunt which came to eat at closed for summer!!! NOT GOOD IDEA . Also the card reader for the elevators was very troublesome and didnt always work and would have to call staff

The hotel is right across the street from the train station and seemed quite modern. The single compact room is very compact.

Great location and terrific helpful friendly staff. Room adequate.

this was supposed to be a 5 star hotel and it was not at all what i expected. did not like the location and thought it would be more interesting with the remodel and famed architect. very cold and not interesting.

good hotel at a good price this time of year. but watch out for the breakfast! $40 usd. makes the deal not so good

Bathroom could use an update, overall very pleasant experience.

This hotel has great rooms "American" style with a large bath, safe, and terrific views. Off season (when Tivoli Gardens is closed) it is a terrific value. It is also very convenient to the main train station and easy access to the airport. We found that most of the attractions and desirable restaurants were a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. Tivoli was closed during our visit but there is plenty to do in a beautiful city. Just be prepared to walk. And if you want to eat at the Radisson's very well known restaurant, be sure to make your reservations in advance. We did not and couldn't get in.

This is the place I try to stay whenever I visit Copenhagen in the summer. I do not eat here, so I really cannot say anything about the catering but the location is excellent, with easy access from the train station, and overall the facilities are well equipped and comfortable.

Excellent quality for the amount paid. Clean, has air conditioning which is very important in summer and has a great location.

Always a good choice when coming to Denmark in July. Gym access is a major plus.

Top notch welcoming service. Hotel is in a great location -- across from Tivoli Gardens and the metro train station. Fantastic complimentary breakfast buffet.

While the initial exterior view when arriving is not the greatest, the experience after arrival could not have been better: the greeting, check-in process, the most contemporary and clean design of halls and room all worked beautifully. And the staff could not have been more helpful. I would definitely stay at the Radisson Blu on my next visit to Copenhagen and recommend it to friends. Prices are high in that city, by US standards, but it was a good value compared to other hotels we checked out.

Good: Perfect location. Nice hotel room. Average European size (kinda small). Connected to free adjacent full gym used by the public too - the best gym I have ever seen included with a hotel room (I travel frequently). Bad: Soggy bed (resulted in sore back). Staff, particularly the one concierge, helpful but often busy. If you want a dark room during their long sunlight hours, this is not the place = quite poor blinds.

The hotel was great, one block from the central train station. Doesn't get any better. Rooms have been recently refreshed and staff is friendly. The only warning is you should stay on a high floor to avoid hearing the street noise.
