Great location for business, not really for sightseeing. Definitely request a water view room. Good hotel bar, a little pricey. Very convenient parking if you have a car. Walking distance to S-tog (train) and 20 minute walk to metro.

Located on the water near the central rail station and Tivoli Gardens. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Room was spacious and welmainted. Excellent club lounge with both breakfast and evening food offerings. Highly recommended!

Everything about this hotel was great. Food in the hotel restaurant was good. Gym was well equipped. Rooms were clean and modern. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to central train station and all the Copenhagen sight seeing.

I had to stay overnight in Copenhagen and this hotel was near my meeting area and looked like a great place on the website. The view was great next to the river, although my room wasn't on the side of the river. The check in was pretty simple and easy, the hostess that welcomed me was pleasant enough, although not much on providing information about the hotel or the town. The room was clean and big enough, the bed was comfortable and the room gets dark for sleeping. The bathroom was clean and decently sized as well. Everything is walking distance from the hotel including the center of the city where you can go for drinks in the pub, food in restaurants and shopping. I had breakfast in the room and it was good and pretty simple. Check out was simple as well, all in all a good place to stay in Copenhagen.

Hotel was clean, staff very helpful, nice to wake with good breakfast, nice view and walking distance to main sights.

The Marriott was a lovely hotel. No complaints other than the bed was more firm to my liking. I woke with a stiff back. It was only one night, so I survived. Good location. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed the water side location. Was beautiful. Would recommend and would likely stay again.

The. Marriott was a very comfortable hotel. Because our stay included Christmas Eve and Christmas Day when almost all of Copenhagen closes down, it turned out very convenient that it had a lot of amenities and a warm homey sense emanating from the staff because it was truly home base those two days. All staff was very pleasant and seemed genuinely happy to be interacting and helping guests. This pleasantness was generally typical of all Copenhagen encounters. Concierges were eager to help and even looked up movie times for us at a local cinema Christmas Day when most everything else was closed as well as finding us a restaurant to eat for Christmas dinner. The hotel staff suggested we take a day trip to Malmö Sweden which we would not have thought to do and it was among the many highlights of our six day trip. The location was excellent. We were able to walk everywhere from historic sites to shopping and it is an easy walk to the train station from which you can easily take a train to the airport or like we did to Malmö. The gym was fully equipped and the lounge lively and a nice place to get an after dinner coffee or before dinner cocktail. The hotel was right on the water and you could take walks or run along the canal Standing in front of Hans Christian Anderson's house just reinforced the overall feeling we had in Copenhagen of being in a charming storybook town.

Most European hotel rooms can be smaller but this hotel is not the case. Good views of city center or waterfront...

The staff could not have been more helpful answering every question and taking care of every need. Specific commendation to Nicolas the bar manager who provided some great recommendations for food and drink around Copenhagen. The location is great, just outside city center. Beautiful views of the canal on one side and Tivoli on the other.

Overall our stay at the Marriott Copenhagen was wonderful. The rooms are a nice size, the beds are so comfortable and the bathroom, great. It's close to the Train Station and Tivoli, with a bus stop right in front of the hotel. It also has a great Fitness Room. My only disappointment is that you have to pay for WiFi in your room however, it is complimentary in the public area.

Good location, as we were visiting the TIVOLI Gardens with our children. Breakfast was great, with good variety and highh quality food. The room was very comfortable and clean.

Very nice Hotel located within walking distance from train station. Great breakfast buffet. Room was comfortable and clean staff very helpful and pleasant.

Breakfast is great. What was missing, NOTHING. It was great as was the service. Staff first rate.

Great hotel; U.S. standards. Concierge lounge food selection at happy hour was just OK; breakfast was good. Room was beautiful and staff was great. Room rate was expensive, but I got what I expected.

I liked this hotel - it is a bit away from the city center but a very easy walk to most things - close to Tivoli. The room is comforatable - my only complaint is the time of breakfast. They have a fabulous breakfast buffet that is supposed to go til 11:00 a.am. - however get there by !0:30 because they start taking food away about then. Very uncomfortable when you are trying to enjoy a nice breakfast and the staff is taking away everything in site while you are trying to fill your plate?? All before 11:00 a.m. ?

Stayed on the Executive Level(11th floor)which meant(previously unbeknowned to me) that we were included in the executive meals, snacks, desserts, alcohol(and all drink beverages offered) throughout my stay in Copenhagen(3.5 days), provided at no extra charge. This served to defray considerable costs as this is a most expensive city/country. Room was beautiful, of course, overlooking the river and Christianhaven( I believe). Room service and amenities were "top drawyer,"[...]The only drawback to the Marriott is the check-in time which is 4pm. We arrived at noon. Most hotels allow one in to a room at least by 2pm! Therefore, I will not give this hotel the top rating due to this. I do have to say, that we were given the key to that Executive room with all of the amenities I have earlier described and would have been most comfortable, well fed and well drunk by 4PM but I did not fully comprehend this being the "peasant" that I am, and never took advantage of this. If someone reading this has the opportunity to stay on the 11th floor and is offered the executive key to the executive club, please do not make the mistake of remaining in the main hotel lobby while waiting for your room to be readied!!! Great hotel, great location to walk to Tivoli, Christainhavn, to all pertinant areas to get tour busses to Sweden tour, Hamlet Castle tours, etc. and not that far from the Airport

Large room, great view, executive floor is a great deal

we were visiting my son, who is in school in Copenhagen. We did meuseums and we walked around the city.....

Physically, this hotel is quite nice. You might describe it as classy, polished, almost elegant. The staff was very professional and the room was comfortably large. I loved the beds. My problem was with the included breakfast. The rate I booked was a Special Rate which included breakfast for 2. When I checked in the desk clerk said breakfast was NOT included. [...] I paid for breakfast, but it was not provided to me. The wifi was shockingly expensive, $30 a day! I will never again stay at a hotel that does not provide free internet. There was also something odd going on with the toilet, it would drain all the way down by itself, and then fill way up, and gurgle, all by itself. We asked the hotel to take a look at it. I don't know if they did, but it acted the same the whole time. It also smelled quite bad when it was flushed.

Rooms well-appointed and very clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The water view from our room was postcard perfect.
