The staff was incredible. 1st trip to Europe and they were very helpful and accommodating. Very unique property with has a very classis European feel. If you are looking for a classis hotel stay that is close to everything, this is it..

While the property itself is cute and the breakfast is good, we paid extra for a superior room and it was smaller than a standard room (we popped into one the cleaning crew was working on) and the shower drain in our bathroom was clogged, causing flooding out into the bedroom area. We alerted the staff to this, and they said they'd send the building engineer the next day (it was already too late when we checked in and were dying to shower from a long journey) - if he/she did come, the problem persisted. Luckily we only stayed two nights.

The room was a good size for Europe (double bed room) and was comfortable. The room was a bit dated, and although acceptably clean, could've been cleaner. The bathroom was very small, which wasn't an issue. There were, however two issues with the bathroom: 1. poor insulation of the windows/no heat source making the bathroom like an icebox and 2. the shower lacking a shower pan/adequate drainage, causing half of the bathroom floor to have standing water when someone showered. (There was a shower curtain to keep the water in the shower "area," although this didn't prevent water from splashing out. The tile floor had a drain in the shower "area," but if there was any angle built in to assist with drainage, it was minimal, as the water pooled all the way to the door. We cleaned it up with towels each time, but based on damage to the molding around the door/minor mold in the grout, it was a longstanding issue.) Other than this, our stay was wonderful. The hotel is very conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from the Central Station and a five minute walk to both Tivoli and Christianborg Palace. We were there for New Year's Eve, and although Hotel Danmark is very close to City Hall Square, the hotel was away from the noise/commotion of the fireworks. The staff were very polite and professional.

Loved the wine hour between 5 and 6 and loved the rooftop deck.
