This hotel is right across the street from the Copenhagen Central train station. We booked it as it was so close and we could quickly get to the airport in the morning. It worked great for that. The room and the bathroom are tiny. They are the smallest I've ever stayed at, including Hong Kong. For one night only, it was fine. Really needs brightening up, new paint and carpet. Could have a great feel to it with updates.

Good, Central, Clean but too a bit small. Breakfast good.

I was very disappointed with my stay there. I paid 285 for less than a 12 hrs. my room had a old musky smell like the room window never opened. I was unable to open the room window and delt with a smelly old room.

Quite old and not well maintained. THE GRAND HOTEL NEEDS URGENT REFURBISHMENT! Could be a charming hotel, but would need for that more care of the overall hotel maintenance: as usual, only the lobby is quite nice, and even there... Very close to the train station: quite convenient, but the place is not much pleasant, even considering the proximity of Tivoli park, if you look for a place to have a drink or a relaxing time. Very noisy place. Prices are much too high compared to the proposed comfort standard.

The hotel meet out expectation. I would stay there again

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Central. Close to the train station. Only the breakfast buffet wasnt worth it.

The hotel is pretty good. The staff is very helpful. We had a very good deal for the economy room. Just for someone who books economy room - keep in mind that the room is very-very small and that shower is together with the washroom. Can't tell anything about standard rooms. The breakfast is good - a little bit better than standard breakfast in other hotels in Copenhagen.

An excellent place to stay if you want to be near the main rail station. Only a very short walk. Great if you are taking a train to the airport (Kastrup) early in the morning, and need a place for the night before.

Well located, not expensive, but the hotel is very old.. need a fast renovation.

The Grand Hotel Copenhagen has a great location near the main train station and the hop on hop off tour buses. I liked the hotel and staff, but the price was a bit high, maybe because of Eurovision being in town. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants a central location. Also very near Trivoli amusement center.

Very close to the train station which made for any easy walk. Comfy room and bed after a long day of travel.

I'm so happy we found this place. The city can be expensive, but this was centrally located right by the trains/public transport and it was a nice clean place to crash. Nothing too fancy, but fantastic value.

Location was probably the best thing about this hotel. Being right next to Copenhagen's main rail station was great. The rooms were clean and might seem a bit small if you're coming from North America. They're big enough to do what needs to be done in a hotel room (sleeping and preparing for the day's adventures). We didn't take advantage of the attached restaurant but it's a nice bonus to have one as part of the hotel, even though there are countless restaurants in the vicinity. The complimentary internet was good as well. Overall we had a pleasurable experience.

Very rustic hotel in the center of town. Great location, conveniently located adjacent to the central train station and bus depot. Major attractions are close by or easily reached by public transportation. Friendly and attentive staff. Very pleasant dining area. First rate breakfast offering is a must. Hotel could use some updates though; ie.. room decor; crown ceiling molding and bathrooms. Minor renovations would take this hotel from three stars to four or five stars.

Welcome Desk staff kindly gave us our room about 10am although early check-in not requested. They couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating throughout our stay. One free Internet PC in lobby. Great downtown location near everything. Lowest rate room was fine, large enough for the two of us. The beautiful marble bath was surprisingly large and comfortable. Room very clean with plenty of soaps, shampoos, and the like. Very comfortable bed. Getting to and from our room was a fun challenge. Up one elevator one floor, then down a long hallway including about six steps, with our luggage, to a second elevator up to the fourth floor. Anyone visiting Copenhagen must know it is not on the Euro, the Danish Krone, and it is a VERY expensive town. Example: Buffet breakfast at the hotel purchased separately about $22 each. Many street Bureaus de Change ready to rip off customers with high commissions. Overall great hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Less than a block from central train station 10 minute train ride to airport 2 blocks from Trovil park really super location rooms are fine recommend to anyone coming to Copenhagen

The Room was very spacious and the bathroom as well. Great for the price. No electric kettle or coffee pot in the room. Ample toiletries. One thing I would say is that the room was really far from the reception and it was like going through a maze to get to my room. This wasn't much of a problem since I stayed only for one night and only had one light bag.

The staff was very helpful and the room was nice and clean. The free wifi was a big plus too. Most of the old town is just a short walk away on the other side of the train station.

excellent location. bare minimum room size, amenities. difficult to get to room within hotel as room is in different building from lobby. small elevators

YES THE ROOM IS SMALL BUT THE SERVICE LOCATION STAFF AND BREAKFAST BUFFET ARE ALL GREAT...
