Stayed 2 nights before and 2 nights after a Baltic cruise. First room was quite cramped but second was very nice. Excellent breakfast available.

The hotel staff were great but with only 2 attendants, customers coming in had to sometimes wait in line for more than a few minutes. Also, the room was great except for the bed. My husband and I paid for a queen and it was terribly small and uncomfortable.

Hotel was a few blocks from the central train station and close to any restaurants. Hotel had a nice outdoor area in the middle of hotel. There was buffet breakfast and restaurant in hotel.

Friendly and caring staff all with excellent English. They went to great effort to help us.

The hotel is a short walk away from the train station in a central location. We were greated by the concierge was friendly, courteous, and even provided us with a map and city recommendations before personally brining us to the room. The room is updated, very clean and the view into the courtyard was quite nice and quiet. You can rent bikes from approx 20USD per day from the hotel which worked out perfect as well. I have no complaints. Others commented on small room size but thats to be expected all across Europe.

Intially I gave a low room rating but high hotel rating. This was based on the lack of ventalation in the room that required opening the windows. It was very nice out and a nice cool breeze cooled things off very well. However the noisy was overwhelming as this is a major city. If you are someone who isn't used to this level of noise, ASK FOR A DIFFERENT ROOM! I should have done this prior to submitting my review to allow the staff to fix my problem. I didn't though and felt complelled to set the record straight. The noise isn't some thing they can help with...changing rooms was no problem. A+ for the the staff, B- for the street facing room. Way too noisy but this isn't something the staff can fix. It's a big city...what can you expect.

The manager remembered me from the first stay 9 days earlier and offered me to upgrade to a suite again. 40 dollars you can't beat it. Beer sodas were all comp. The service and cleanliness were exceptional. Great stay.

Rented a superior room but did not meet expectations. Bathroom and shower lacked adequate room space, no room telephone to call front desk, no air con, noisy back street, coffee maker not cleaned. Good location, courteous staff and front desk.

Hotel was recently remodeled, so had a clean, fresh feel. Hotel personnel was very friendly and helpful. Somewhat disappointed in the room. Although it was advertised as a queen, the bed couldn't have been bigger than a double, and the room was very long but narrow, necessitating the bed be pushed up next to the wall. It made it very inconvenient for getting up in the middle of the night. The room, however was very clean.

We were quite pleased with our room which was a little small by American standards but quite comfortable. The shower, in particular, has the typical Scandinavian folding doors and was a bit small and tight. The bed was great. Other than some unexplained street noise early in the morning, our superior room on the second floor was quiet and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was pretty good but is extremely pricey. It's centrally located and the strip clubs nearby never created a problem for us.

Was put at the back of the hotel and had to walk through a load of building work to get to the room. Was also woken up at 07:00 by builders banging and drilling. Not what you expect when you spend the extra money to stay in a nice hotel.

The hotel was close to everything - great shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The room was quite small but it is to be expected in such a major city. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were always helpful, funny and kind. Staff attitude makes a great difference and the staff at this this hotel were super nice!

On arrival we found that the hotel had been taken over by another group & that the inclusive evening meal was no longer available. A very small compensation was refunded to us which did not cover the cost of a meal anywhere. The location is central and useful and the hotel is adequate for sleeping & getting around. A temporary drawback was that roadworks were in progress outside the hotel so most taxi drivers would not attempt to reach it & would drop you a block away.

Clean, comfortable, quiet. Elegant buffet breakfast. Accommodating staff, great location.

Good Value - good location. Lovely public spaces in hotel.

I spent four nights at the Mayfair while visiting my 20 year old daughter who is studying at DIS. The hotel is in a great, central location, near DIS, train station and Tivoli. We walked everywhere. The rooms are small but nicely appointed. The evening dinner is an excellent value (included in room rate) because Denmark is expensive! My only complaint is that the waiter would not give us tap water without charge unless we also ordered a glass of wine. PLEASE!!!

Good location and easy to get to. Street noise can be loud. No air conditioning

In a great area, a couple blocks from Tivoli Gardens and Market Square. The room had what seemed like only a full (double) bed and the room was very small. We were there for 2 nights. We had 2 big suitcases and 2 carry-on bags and could barely fit all of them and us in the room. The bathroom was very nice, totally redone in marble. Hotels in Copenhagen are very expensive and when searching this was one of only a few that included breakfast (which was great!) AND a dinner at night (also, good!). Besides the small room, when you include the location, breakfast and dinner it was a good value and we would stay there again!

Nice hotel, good value for money. Very positive was the lit evening buffet.

Lots of positives about this hotel to include its local near the train station, less than 10 minutes pulling suitcases, helpful, friendly staff, and comfortable beds. But the best thing about this place is its buffet breakfast, afternoon coffee and cake, and "light supper" which was more like a three course dinner! I would certainly stay here again.

Dear Matt, thank you for lovely evaluation and comments. It is true, the city is big and lively and it can be noisy at times. We are sorry it was a disturbance for you. We do have ventilation at the hotel, though not AC. It is not necessary in a city like Copenhagen where the climate is rather mild. We are very glad that the staff found another room for you and hopefully you had a good night sleep. We look forward to seeing you again!
