The hotel is located on 10 minutes walking from the Metro Station (Forum) and 20 min walking to the Tivoli Parc. There bus station on 2-3 min walking so basicly you can move very fast everywhere. The breakfast was delicious. There are not so many types of food but what they have are very tasty. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are narrow (because this is the concept and whole idea of this hotel), but looking very good and clean. I like it.
Place is tiny but they will take a family of 4. Must have a bed for each person and hard to find in Copenhagen. Room was smaller than our cruise ship room during the trip but the kids loved it. The had a free breakfast and we got a discounted taxi to the port through the hotel. Close to a subway stop which was cool. Easy to get there from the airport on the subway.
If you want budget accommodation in Copenhagen and can manage an easy 20 minute walk from the central station / 10 minute walk from Vesterport station (or afford a cab!) then stop reading this review and book this hotel. My second floor room was compact but all I needed with en-suite bathroom, plenty of table / wardrobe space, a TV and a comfy bed. They only offer breakfast in the adjoining cafe (not tried) but there's a Netto supermarket a 10 minute walk away (right by Vesterport station) if you want to self-cater on a budget. Copenhagen is a lovely place - this was my first visit and, although it's got an expensive cost of living, it is possible to keep costs down by looking around... use this budget hotel as a great start to your value stay in this wonderful wonderful city.
I had to cancel my booking the day before I was due to stay due to unforeseen circumstances. Maya from reception was extremely understanding and agreed to charge me for one night only instead of two, despite their terms stating full charge. Great customer service. I definitely intend to stay there next time I'm in Copenhagen.
The hotel scored from its convenient yet quiet location as it's just 4 minutes' walk from Forum Metro. If you arrive Copenhagen at international airport, you are 20 minutes or 32DKK direct metro trip away. Being one of the cheapest hotels with private bath, you have little complaints despite the shortcoming listed below. Another incentive is a supermarket is just stone throw distance from Forum station. The rooms have no air con but just one window which can't be opened in full. The 5cm gap allows minimum air ventilating in. This proves to be a huge problem in hot days. Room has basic housekeeping, yet reasonably clean overall. Towels were clean. Space can be tight but workable if you are not too tall. Beds are quite short though and do not fit person taller than 185cm. Beds were soft and need replacement. Breakfast is not as cheap. It has all the basic you need before starting your excursion. It saves time to plan and look for food around as the location does not have many stores nor choices. A 15 minutes walk to the South could reward you much more options. There isn't much service to speak of. The lady in charge in morning showed little patience to serve. Perhaps, I should not expect much for this class of hotel in expensive Copenhagen. If you need to store luggage before or after checking in, be mindful there is no security to it. The room can be accessed by almost everyone. There is no service charge to pay room fees by credit card and exchange rate for Euro was not unreasonable comparing with international airport. A big NO to change money at airport.
As their slogan says: all you need to sleep. Nothing more or less, basic little rooms with a tiny own bathroom, just enough for 1-2 nights. Probably the cheapest option you can get in Copenhagen area.
Located in good location, walking distance to city center. A few restaurants around the neighborhood. The quad room is four singles. One bunk and one loft. Family was not into the dutch shower, I didn't see any problems with it. Quick and easy check in and clean room. Good price considering Copenhagen is super expensive.
The hotel was very clean and in a central location. However, the room was claustrophobic and stuffy, with only one window opening a tiny bit and no other ventilation.I had to prop the door open for over an hour every evening to let some air in before I was able to go to sleep.
I had to book a Hotel in Copenhagen for a business trip of 4 days, and could not find many alternatives. This was one of the very few Hotels with available rooms. Unfortunately my stay was quite bad: Room very small, toilet almost not practicable (no room for shower!), room very hot also due to the fact that it was difficult to open the window, and the room was located on the top floor just under the roof.... The only positive item was the very fast WiFi. Maybe recommended for tourists, the position is ideally located; but definitely not for business travellers.
I expected the rooms to be small, but not so claustrophobic. With 4 adults in a room there was rarely a time you had more than a few centimeters of space to yourself. The bathroom was horrendously small and the shower water goes everywhere (as it all shares a floor). The shower is also aimed at the wall so it's hard to even use it at all. The beds felt about as comfortable as sleeping on the floor with a pillow. With 4 people someone had to go to the top most bunk and that's dangerous on its own for the height, but then even the other bunk was dangerous as it had no railing. While it was cool outside (18 C/ 60 C) the window only opened a couple of centimeters and the room was boiling hot without the heater having been turned on at all. We had to ask for a fan, the first one given to us didn't even work. This place was awful and I'd rather spend the night at the airport.
