Room has bad smell bed looked like sheets had not been changed breakfast was real simple

We had 2 rooms for 1 night for a wedding at 3:30 pm. The staff let us keep our 2 rooms until almost 2 pm with just enough time for lunch and the drive to the venue. So nice and attentive. Thank you!

The smoke alarm, plugs and other parts of the room were not properly attached and need maintenance. The HVAC could not have the fan turned on by its self. Staff good, food good, Clean

We stayed on the fourth floor for four nights and found the hotel quiet and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful at the desk and breakfast room. the rooms could use a little maintenance TLC shower curtain rod drooping, sink slow draining, but were clean.

We had a very testing stay. This is a very nice location.

I will start by saying the folks at the front desk are friendly and extremely accommodating. When we asked to be moved to a suite, they were able to get us in one the next morning. What I didn't expect was finding bedbugs in our bed! It was disgusting and even after I returned a bug-infested pillow, they never had the housekeeping staff come up and re-clean the room. Sorry folks but, I only need that to happen once and I am forever turned off to his hotel. I encourage this hotel to PLEASE make a concerted effort to train your housekeeping staff to do a better job. This was a truly unfortunate experience.

We travel to the a area frequently to visit our daughter. Having tried other hotels, we were somewhat satisfied, but not entirely. The value was spot-on and we got much more than we anticipated. The staff was so friendly and courteous that we felt at home immediately. Our room was clean and the beds very comfortable. We were able to adjust the thermostat to our liking which is essential to sleeping well. The breakfast buffet was exceptionally fresh and had a large variety of choices.

The air conditioner in the room we got did not work. But, the hotel was booked solid so we couldn't get changed into a new room. the front desk gave us a fan, but it just blew around hot, muggy air. the following day, when we came back to the room that evening, the A/C had been fixed....but once again in the middle of the night it stopped working. the front desk gave us a new room, which was appreciated. however, the A/C in that unit worked so well, that a layer of frost about 1/2" thick was developed, so eventually it stopped sucking in air and then began to overheat and then overheated the room. We had to use a hair dryer (more heat) to defrost all the frost on the A/C unit, and it was working again. Because we had booked with another company and not them directly, the front desk said they couldn't give us any discounts/reimbursements or anything. I am still awaiting a phone cal from the manager (who never seemed to be around). the room was clean, and didn't smell like smoke. just wish the A/C worked properly.

Nice staff, clean rooms, fridge and microwave, continental breakfast

Overall decent stay. Issue was maid cam and took dirty towels and did not replace. Nor did they straighten or make beds etc. Pool there was no towels to use for pool area as most hotels have. Everything else was fine.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the Conroe area. Parking was sometimes a problem, otherwise it was a comfortable stay.

This hotel is a good value if you're doing stuff around the Woodlands Mall area - it's a few minutes drive north on the interstate. The rooms are clean and nothing to get excited about. We wanted a place with breakfast for the kids, and the free offering here are adequate, albeit small and simple. We stayed there Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and the offering were the same everyday. Overall good value.

Comfortable/ Convienent/Clean quiet environment/ easy access to parking

Stayed three nights and had no problems. Room was clean, bed comfortable only complaint was the AC didn't seem consistent. Tried to set it so the fan would stay on for air circulation and it still cut in and off. Did not bother me enough to call maintenance.

Check-in as a breeze....hotel is a semi-good location...right by an iHop if the breakfast isn't to your liking (it wasn't to ours)...right of the I-45S but it required passing the hotel and turning back around coming on the northside but overall... we'd stay again!

I have no complaints about this hotel. Served the purpose well for a 2-night stay. The only thing to note is that it's a little inconvenient to get to because it's on the south-side of the 45 and there is not a direct turn if you're coming up on the northside so expect to make u-turns if you're coming up from the north...but that didn't much bother me. On the same grounds as an ihop so if you don't want their breakfast...you can literally walk over to ihop.

This place is a dump. I stayed there a few years ago while visiting my parents and thought I'd stay there again over Thanksgiving (2010). What a gigantic mistake! [...]We arrived late Thanksgiving night (after having traveled since 5am that morning). Our room was hot and stuffy and we immediately put on the A/C (which didn't cool down the room much even after an hour or so). About 11pm, the people in the room next to us came in and were talking loudly and smoking (in a non-smoking room -- it was seeping through the connector door). By midnight we were fed up and called the desk. They offered to move us to another room (mind you "move us" meant we did the moving). We got to the other room and before we opened the door we heard two women screaming at each other at the top of their lungs and baby crying at the top if its. We were so exhausted and so fed up we went down to the desk and said we were leaving. The peons that work the desk can't do anything until "the manager" is on duty. I use the term "manager" lightly here because it appears the manager is NEVER on duty. We left and went down the street to a brand new Marriot and it cost us $20 less a night for a gorgeous and QUIET room. So, problems with this hotel?1. uncaring staff2. staff who don't know how to shut up their guests when complained about (the offending parties should be forced to leave, not the innocent people trying to get some sleep!!!!!)3. An absent manager (we called several times and stopped by to talk to her and she was never there and the staff couldn't tell us when she would be. NOBODY KNEW THE MANAGER'S HOURS 4. They initially REFUSED to give us a refund for even the slightest part our stay. After constant calling and complaining, we finally got them to refund 1/2 the stay but we're still not happy. We should not have had to work this hard for this. The problem was the loud, rude guests, NOT US yet we were punished for their behavior! 5. To top it off, there is a TON of construction going on near the hotel (they don't tell you that either when you book this hotel). It's is extremely difficult to get in and out of this place.I do believe there is an expectation of common courtesy and decency on the part of guests at a hotel. Baymont Inn & Suites of Conroe rewards obnoxious bad behavior and punishes the innocent.DO NOT STAY HERE!

This hotel was very efficient and provided a decent breakfast. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The biggest downside was the torn-up service roads leading to the parking lot. There was so much construction! I did not feel safe driving around, but the hotel itself was a pleasant and affordable place.

We went to the Texas Renaissance festival. The baymont was perfect for what we wanted which was a place that was close, not too expensive, with great air conditioning, and food in the morning. We weren't looking for a five star hotel, but just one with clean rooms and plenty of room. The baymont accomplished this. Also the fact that there is an ihop in the parking lot was great after we had a couple drinks and knew we shouldn't drive. Overall we all enjoyed the stay and look forward to staying again next year

We got way more than what we had expected. The location is easy to get to, 24 hr. restaurant next door, friendly/professional staff, clean building.
