booked as a package and was pleased with the hotel, car and air reservations, thank you

The Westin Columbus was a great hotel in most respects and an average one in others. The staff was welcoming and thorough in taking care of us upon check in. The rooms were a bit disappointing as they are really small compared with most hotels at this price point I've stayed at. The OSU vs. MI game weekend rates had an impact on this I'm sure. We ordered room service in the am and the food was warm. Not a big deal however upon our return in the late evening it was still there but the bed was made...that made no sense to us. Overall, we thought the accommodations were OK for our stay.

Sent my parents away for Christmas present and they loved it and the theater is connected right in the back!

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and polite. The only issue that I had with the room was the lack of a refrigerator in the room.

My king room was just big enough for a king bed. The exhaust in bathroom didnt work. The window in room, which faces other brick walls, fell out if the track when I tried to open it. It doesn't stay open either. The tub had lots if other peoples hair all over it, clearly not cleaned. The sink gas soap scum film. Def NOT worth the nearly $300 I paid for room. Movie are over $17 on the tv. The valet parking I REQUIRED fir patrons AND they charge $24 for it!! Valet drivers did NOT touch money I left in car! Very proud.

This is great hotel even for a 1 night stay! The beds are really comfortable and it's not far from the short north!

Great staff. Nice comfortable rooms. In the downtown area, close to nice restaurants and bars.

marvelous lobby with adjoining Thurber's Bar. Floor #3 had very tired carpeting - my room was TINY - no electrical outlet on work table to re-charge iPad. Bath very small, but liked 2-headed shower. Bed SUPER comfy. Windows HORRIBLE - very much in need of cleaning, especially outside.

Nice place...great location. Staff was average and they added an extra tip to what I had originally tipped. Keep an eye out for that. Extra charge on valet too.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend using the valet if you drove and if you need a cab make sure to call down ahead of time. The rooms were very clean and the beds were quite comfortable compared to other places I've stayed. The shower head is a bit too low for anyone over 5'10, but otherwise the bathroom was well kept. The downtown location was nice and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Columbus.

The Westin is nice, but room was extremely small. Some of the staff were very hard to understand what they were saying. I stayed there on Friday and another downtown Columbus hotel on Saturday and the other hotel was great! I probably won't stay at the Westin next time.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Westin Columbus. Upon arrival, I joined the Starwood Preferred Program and got a free upgrade to a suite with a king bed, which was a nice way to start the stay. The room was very nice, and for the most part, pretty quiet (I could hear people walking by if they were talking, but that was to be expected). The only issues I had with the stay were that (1) I couldn't use the wi-fi on my phone (though I had no problem using it with my laptop#, #2# the fitness room was rather small with not a lot of machines to use, and #3# the parking was $20/overnight #and staying for 4 nights it added up#. However, I realize that this is a hotel located downtown, and downtown parking in any city is going to cost money if it's not included in the hotel fee #and, by signing up for the Starwood Preferred Program, I got a night free, so that was nice). Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to others.

The Hotel is good, even if the invest more in the lobby and in the common areas more then in the rooms ! Overall very good, but the room was a little small and 4 stars and up hotels should ALWAYS provide FREE WiFi connection and FREE breakfast. The exercise room was very very good !!!

Classic historic, yet totally modernized hotel originally known as the Great Southern Hotel and Opera House. Spent the night and attended a concert in the adjacent restored opera house. Appreciated the direct entrance to the venue from the hotel, right there in the main lobby. Enjoyed the entire experience. Will do it again.

Check in went very smoothly. All staff was informative, helpful and polite. The hotel, though old ,was clean and attractive. I would book at the Westin again for my next visit.

I booked the Westin Columbus to get away from it all during a four day break... And it had just what I needed. This building is not only gorgeous, but the rooms are classy, with a simple elegance. It was perfectly located near German Village, which was a short jog... Short North is a couple miles Down the road as well, a short drive. I ordered room service a couple times and the food was excellent; the mini bar was well stocked, and the prices were actually pretty reasonable. They have a wonderful fitness center, Thurbers Bar, and High Street Grill. Beautiful bathroom... It was the perfect retreat. My only beef, and this is why its not a 5 star review, is that there is not free WiFi... I was shocked, and a little disappointed. $10.00 per day for WiFi, which is nuts in this day and age; I think given what I paid for the room, as this is a high class place, WiFi should absolutely be included.

It was an acceptable value. Good location it was close to German Town, Ohio State & Columbus Convention Center.

Small room, but plenty of space for a single traveler. Updated amenities, comfortable bed. In good weather, it's a 10 minute walk to a number of great downtown restaurants.

While the hotel was beautiful the room was very small. In the future I would not make the same type of accomadations again.

Great clean hotel. The rooms were a bit small but that was stated in the info. Staff was fantastic and nice! I will stay there again
