Days Inn Columbus Fairgrounds

The pool is closed, the picture on Orbitz site is not this hotel. Room floor was stained, chair was dirty, room had a horrible odor and smelled like smoke even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. When we laid on the bed we could feel the springs. We checked out after one night.

The bed was horribly uncomfortable. Springs in the mattress were directly pressing into my back. AC unit blowing very stuffy smelly air into the room.

We booked a king size room here bc it was close to the fairgrounds. Other than the proximity ti the fairgrounds I cant really give any positive notes. When we checked in we were given a queen size handicapped accessible room and told they had no kings and I must have messed up the reservation. I checked, we reserved a king and they said sorry we dont have any. They didnt realize the next guy checking in was with us and had reserved 3 days after us. They gave him a king. We decided we could make do and went to our room, There were holes in the carpet and when we checked out the bathroom it was dirty. like really dirty. the shower floor was black and stained, there were trash wrappers still in the floor of it. We found hair everywhere and the handle of the shower was broke so we had no hot water. For the high rate we had to pay, it was a horrible experience.

Beds were comfortable and room was clean. It was the perfect place to stay for our trip. Would definitely recommend. Nice that they had breakfast in the morning too.

The hotel staff was nice enough to change the room from a smoking room to a non smoking room with that being said i think the room was ok it did smell a bit moldy to me. The location was the best part of trip. I thought that they should not have had parking for fair either made it hard to park for people who paid for there room.

The room was clean, didn't smell, and was relatively inexpensive. The night manager was friendly and very helpful. With that said, the pillows were small squares and horribly uncomfortable. The overall feel of the room felt more like a cheap budget room than what I paid for it. I'd gladly pay more money per night or drive a few more miles to stay in a much nicer hotel. For what they charge, I definitely expected more.

Reserved a room with a king size bed a few days before. When I got there my room had two full size beds. Called the front desk and was told they had no king beds available, which I had in writing on my confirmation email that I reserved a room with a king size bed. It's pointless to reserve anything as thing hotel. Hotel staff did absolutely nothing to make things right.

Close to the highway, right next to a McDonald's so you can get breakfast before hitting the road in the AM, and close to Ohio State's campus. I used it as a staging area for moving home after school, and it did the job.

this hotel served our needs as expected. There was anything that stood out but the room was large, clean and comfortable. We were a short drive from the campus, game and area which had plenty of bars and restaurants. Was it a 5-star hotel, definitely not but was affordable and perfect for our needs since we were only really there to rest and sleep. Would definitely consider this in the future.

Very rough area. While there did visit downtown. The hotel wasn't bad it was average. Didn't spend much time in the room. Staff was very helpful,

found two cockroach in the room, apart from that it was good experience. good for the money

I had no misunderstandings about this hotel, therefore i was pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the room, cleanliness and proximity to the Ohio State campus. No complaints from our end! The room was spacious, clean and quiet. We would definitely stay here during a future visit, especially since the cost was about 50% of what most rooms were going for in the area on our particular weekend. Is it a 5 star hotel, but i did not expect it to be. We will definitely be back!

Have stayed three years in a row. Rooms are clean. Continental Breakfast wasn't good on Fri., but had more on Sat. Could be better. Friendly. Could certainly use some updates but the price is good. Planning on going back next year.

No pool, No wifi and ice machine didn't keep up with demand of hotel...only one!!

My second year in a row staying at this hotel for a Columbus Crew game. This hotel is close to Crew stadium - but not much else. If you are looking for various restaurants, etc., this is not close to them. However, I was able to walk to/from the Crew game with ease. Room was clean, comfortable. I plan to return next summer if the schedule allows.

Cheap price, clean, good location. Located next to fairgrounds and McDonalds next door.

The hotel is just that. Nothing is terribly wrong but nothing is more than ok, especially for the price. If you just need a place to sleep for the night it will work.

Room was clean but both mattresses were broken and had pillows underneath for support. "Continental Breakfast" consisted of apples and bananas

This was the most disgusting and scariest place I have ever been. We didn't even enter the hotel room after being so incredibly uncomfortable with the surroundings. Maybe I should have researched the area better.

Besides the ants on the bathroom floor and mysterious white stains on the carpet, it was alright.
