Went to Columbus for the Ohio State football game. Location was perfect, easy to walk to the event and local areas. Room was not cleaned for multiple days of our stay. This occurred even after informing the front desk of the fact on the 2nd day around 3pm. Returned to room after game at 2am and still not cleaned. On Sunday room again was not cleaned upon returning at 530pm. Had to inform a cleaning staff on the floor of this. They happily started on room right away.

Perfect location to a dynamic downtown! In and Out Valet service was excellent. Workout room was just right, great visit.

Did not have a good night of sleep. Heater was very noisy. It was going on and off the whole night. Noise from the door of next room closing was very loud.

I made this reservation for 6 of our team members who were there for a meeting. Feedback included overwhelming agreement that the beds were terribly uncomfortable and old - permanent impressions where body would be. Also, the hotel was under construction, which we did not know when booking. One of our team members said it sounded like they were working around the clock as the sound of hammers was constant. Final comment was that personnel at front desk were rather rude and there was a bit of confusion about the need for a credit card at check in even though the room had been paid through the online travel service.

I would highly recommend this hotel! Great location, nice sized rooms and very friendly staff. Only bad thing was there isn't an elevator on the main floor to get your cart to your room. I had to walk my luggage up stairs to the floor where the elevators were.

I got a package deal on flights and hotel through this site so the price was better than with other hotels of similar quality. It's a 5 minute walk to the sports arena area and the convention center. Plenty of good restaurants within a 10 minute walk in any direction. The room was clean, no complaints on housekeeping. The windows are pretty small so you don't get much natural light in the room. So I guess that would be the one negative I can think of. They have a small but decently stocked bar with free popcorn.

was a little disappointed that the hotel staff wasn't more aware of the amenities and attractions in the area of the hotel. I was consistently misdirected to local attractions such as dinner and entertainment spots. I was disappointed to find out that my stay was not eligible for rewards points through my Marriott membership. If I stay in Columbus again, I won't be going back to the Marriott Courtyard.

Took my 3 year old granddaughters and promised them swimming. Checked website to make sure they had a pool. Pool was closed. They offered the YMCA pool and gave a paper with the hours. Dressed the girls the next morning, walked in the rain it the Y and it was closed to the public because of swimming lessons. Dragged the girls back to the hotel crying because they wanted to swim. Big disappointment.

What you expect from Courtyard Mariott Room was nice and big The only minus is that Mariott does not give you rewards if you do not book directly through them!

Decided last moment to head to Columbus for the New Year and found this hotel available online. It is located just south of the Arena district and the Short North, just a few minutes walk to either area. So within walking distance, you have at your fingertips great restaurants, shopping and perhaps a concert or a game at the Arena. The hotel is clean and staff is friendly. It is not luxurious, but if you are looking for a comfortable and clean place to hang your hat while exploring Columbus, this is good as any.

We came to Columbus to see a concert at the LC Pavilion and the hotel was within walking distance and lots of great places to eat near by. The window AC was a bit disappointing, but in historic buildings that's what you get I guess. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is worth it. Hard to find a place downtown that's open for breakfast on the weekend. There was nothing special about this hotel, but you can't beat a clean room and VERY helpful staff. The tip about parking in the public lot down the street instead of using the hotel valet was a great one.

The room and location were great. Very clean and comfortable. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator on the lobby level so in order to get a luggage rack up to your room a bellhop had to wait for a special lift that did not work quickly. Also, parking was at a garage down the street.

We were visiting Columbus for a wedding. Marriot Courtyard was located in the heart of Columbus - very close to many attractions. This motel was well maintained, had safe parking, and had a "five star" staff. We would definitely stay there again.

Checked in for a bachelorette party and didn't plan on being in the room much. Short walk (3 blocks) to all the bars/restaurants. To get to the elevators you either had to walk up or down 1 flight of stairs so that was a bit of an inconvenience. Room very clean. Beds comfy (and spacious, we fit 3 women to a queen bed). Staff was AWESOME! There was supposedly construction going on but we didn't see/hear anything while there.

We visited family, however I wanted to sit there the whole time! It was amazing!

it was a great price, we saved almost half the cost. The location was perfect, right on the corner beside wallstreet nightclub. Hospitality was good, hotel clean, and bed extremely comfortable. Valet parking available. If you are interested in ordering delivery, dont waist your time using the directory, provided in the room, just go down to the front desk and they have plenty of restraunts that deliver and their menu. The only negative was that more than half of the hotel was packed with little kids running around all through the evening. I thought you had to be 21 and older to reserve a room!

Very nice and acceptable

The hotel was clean and about what you would expect with friendly staff. Conveniently located for a walk around downtown or up to High Street to "Short North" for lots of bars and restaurants. The hotel parking was a bit of a shock at $18 per night.

My wife and I stayed one night at the Marriott to attend a concert at the nearby LC Pavillion. The Arena district and convention center are within walking distance of this hotel and several others. So compare prices. You'll find plenty of entertainment, shopping and restaurants. You can skip the Marriott's $17 valet parking. There's a $6.00 per day flat rate parking garage just one block away, behind the hotel, on Marconi Street. Overall, the hotel was neat and clean. The staff was attentive and friendly. The bed was comfortable. The room and hallways were clean. Although there is no free breakfast, they do have free coffee in the lobby that's actually bold and tasty. I'm not picky, but my wife is...and she was pleased, as well.

I CHECKED IN LATE FRIDAY NIGHT. WENT TO BREAKFAST (THE ONLY MEAL SERVED AT HOTEL AND $9 PER PERSON) AND IMMEDIATELY DRANK SUPER SPOILED MILK. THE POOL WAS EXTREMELY TOO SMALL FOR SUCH A LARGE HOTEL AND THE WHIRLPOOL HAD SO MANY CHEMICALS, IT MADE MY EYES BURN FROM THE STEAM. THAT NIGHT, WE WALKED TO NATIONWIDE ARENA (WHERE THE SECURITY GUARD WAS ABSOLUTELY RUDE!) AND CAME BACK TO THE HOTEL...STILL TO HAVE A DIRTY ROOM UNTOUCHED BY HOUSEKEEPING!! I HAD TO GO TO THE FRONT DESK TO ASK FOR SHAMPOO/COND, TOWELS, ETC TO EVEN TAKE A SHOWER! WE CHECKED OUT OF OUR DIRTY (AND QUITE SMALL) ROOM TO FIND OUT I WAS CHARGED FOR PARKING( WHEN I DID NOT PARK THERE OR USE THE $18/ DAY VALET!!) AND NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THEY TOOK 3X WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO OUT OF MY CARD!!! NOT IMPRESSED WITH THIS STAY AND WHEN THEY TRIED TO MAKE IT BETTER, THEY CHARGED MY CARD again!!! THE RED ROOF IN MOTEL I WAS STUCK WITH IN FLORIDA WAS MUCH NICER THAN THIS ONE THAT WAS WAY OVERPRICED TO BEGIN WITH AND DID NOT EVEN MAKE MY BED!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AND UNFORTUNATELY NO LONGER PLAN ON USING THIS HOTEL FOR MY NEXT TRIP TO COLUMBUS LATER THIS YEAR. VERY DISAPPOINTING VALENTINE'S WEEKEND!
