Horrible!!!! Had to change rooms 3 different times. Heat did not work. Hair dyer had a short in it. Sheets had stains. Plumbing had issues. Staff was unable to satisfy me in making it right. Very unhappy with my stay. Previous I was a hotel manager; I would have done everything to make my guest happy no matter what the cost would have been. Unfortunately, there attempt at customer service was lackluster. After switching rooms (3 times), clearly there was an issue with the overall maintenance of this hotel. From a brand standpoint, I would be dissapointed in the conditions and humiliated by association. My family and I request that you find a way to right this experience.

The room was dirty and the toilet had feces in it and couldn't flush. The room smelled terrible. Had to leave the hotel and request a refund.

It was decent.. Staff was a Lil lazy but overall it'll due

The room was clean and in a great location. However the parking is only located on one side of the building which makes it difficult to unload and load a car when traveling with a baby.

No good terribly wrong bad bad how long u need it stinks

Old but clean appearance of hotel was not inviting

This hotel was disgusting. I understand that it was a 2star hotel and I was not looking for luxury. I just wanted clean and this hotel did not provide that. Smoke detector ripped from the ceiling with just wires hanging down, beer cans, mcdonalds bag, old room key all left in the room. A pile of some kind of residue on the credenza. This did not give me any confidence that the room was remotely clean. I could live with the scratchy thin towels as that was expected but cleanliness should not be considered a value. It should be expected by all that the room is clean and in working order. Not happy with this hotel at all.

its what you would expect for the price clean bed and shower

The owners/staff were amazing. A very pleasant stay for an economy hotel.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. Unfortunately, this was the only hotel that had availability for the football game we attended, so we didn't have much choice in booking. We were placed in a smoking room instead of a non-smoking one, which was what I booked. There was grime all over everything, including the light bulbs, cigarette burn holes in the "comforter," and mattresses and garbage stacked behind the building. I slept in my clothes, on top of the covers, with a towel over the pillow. That's how gross this place was. I should have slept in my car.

upon arriving, I immediately felt this was not the hotel for me.Before going in I checked in one of the open windows and there was a broken down dusty air conditioner on the floor, the curtain was open so I could see clearly the outdated and not so clearn looing bed linens and furniture. I just cancelled after seeing the plastic floating in the pool. In the lobby, there was a vase of false flowers in what appeared to be water with mold in it.

needs improvement.....

This location needs a lot of attention both inside and out. I've stayed here twice and both times because it was the only place that had a vacancy. When I stayed in May the ice machine was out of order. In September it's still out of order. The bath tubs need attention as well as the in room coffee maker. If there is no place else available, it's a place to stay.

We stayed here one night while visiting Starkville and some friends. The staff was friendly and the room was at least clean. It appears they remodeled the bathrooms in the last few months. We actually had two (2) of our dogs with us and were not put at the back of the hotel like some do. We will stay there again next time we visit Starkville. It was worth the money.

fold out couch mattress filthy with stains- carpet too dirty to walk on-thin towels with holes- worst experience we have ever had- and i am 58 years old! the entire hotel should be condemned

I have stayed in much worse, but I guess it is true that you get what you pay for. There may be a reason that this hotel is so much cheaper than most nearby. The only major complaints that I have is the the pool was a color of green that is just not natural! Way too nasty to allow your clients to see, and the front staff was as friendly as a angry hornet!

Good location. Nice renovated bathrooms. Little things could have made it better (plastic still on lamps, missing a screw on the lamp, lumber laying out the parking lot, laundry room looked like an eyesore, etc.) Really just need to renovate the rooms themselves.

It was in the process of being re-opened/rebuilt/refurbished. The rebuilding is shabby with very poor workmanship. The owner was nice and did his best but it simply is not worth the cheap price, sorry.

My experience with this America's Best Value Inn was worse than I can describe. The building itself was unclean. The manager screamed at me when I questioned why my room wasn't ready an hour and a half past check in time (when we had made reservations over a week prior to showing up). The rooms were not clean. My advice to Orbitz is to drop this business from their list of accomadations. I also think that America's Best Value Inn's corporate office should check in to this location as make improvements very soon to both management and grounds before this place makes the whole company look bad. I have stayed in America's Best Value Inns before and they were very nice. However, to say this place was "under par" would be an understatement!!

America's Best Value motel was a good bang for your buck. The room was clean, everything worked and the location was excellent. I never found the pool though.Wake up time was called, they let me check out later if I needed too and it was a very pleasant stay for one night. I've spent more on motel rooms and received a lot less in value and would stay again if my business takes me down there.
