Unfortunately, upon arriving at the hotel and turning on my AC unit, white debris came flying out of the unit. When I called the front desk informing them about the snow inside my room, they literally told me that was coming from the construction outside, there was nothing they could do. Firstly- if there is paint or construction material coming in through your vent, do you really think it is same to be breathing it? Secondly- you don’t have a single other room that isn’t on the side that is currently under construction. Additionally- there was a lovely note, very kindly written apologies for the construction and letting the customer know, construction will begin at 8 in the morning, however - every single morning I was there, it started at 7 am !!!! There was only one lady at the front desk that greeted me kindly(and everyone else coming through the doors) no one else I encountered even looked up. The breakfast staff never said good morning. And the breakfast options were paltry at best and were not refilled during the morning. So if you didn’t get a prewrapped sausage and cardboard breakfast sandwich first, you were just out of luck. I travel for work, weekly, and to say I’m disappointed is no understatement, I have limited occasion to even call the front desk at any hotel, but to have little to no customer service and very little care for the people coming in the door ... I won’t be staying at here again. There are plenty of other options in Columbia.

The hotel location was very convenient for my meetings at the Conference Center. There were an abundance of shops and restaurants in the area. Very nice experience!

Upon check in I received my room keys. Went up to the floor, the keys did not work. Went back down to the desk, the lady programmed the keys, went back up to the room.....heres where it gets more interesting. I'm in the elevator with a gentleman (complete stranger). We both get off on the same floor, head down the same hallway, and stop in front of the same room. After we exchange crazy looks, we determine we've both been assigned to the same room! We both go back down to the desk, the girl never once apologizes she just says "hmmm....whats your last name? Oh you're on a different floor (to me). I gave her the key card envelope that clearly has the other guys room on it, get my new keys and head to what is now my room on a different floor. Get to the room, the keys don't work AGAIN! Now I'm really frustrated because I've been carrying my bags all around this stupid hotel up and down floors. I head back to the desk, the girl says "Your keys still don't work?" (Still doesn't apologize by the way). She programs my keys and says I'll meet you up there. We meet at my room, where my keys finally work. I'm exhausted, my face is red, it's hot and humid and she says "well you got a workout in girl"......i just bit my tongue. I realize my room is a handicapped accessible room and it's right off the elevator...i already know this is going to continue to be ridiculous. I finally settle into my room and the walls are so thin i can hear every word next door! Horrible experience!!!!

Internet and cable tv not the greatest. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly. Comfy beds. Nice out door pool.

Carpets are all dirty and loose. Very musky smelling.

Was greeted by a very nice young lady. All the staff is came into contact with were real nice. Overall the room seemed to be somewhat dated. Bathroom was clean but rusty door hinge and loose shower fixtures took away from the overall look. The bed was not made properly. It looked like someone laid on it after it was made up. There was trash behind the trash can. Something that looked like a large wad of toilet paper was stuck to the wall behind the trash can. An unidentified black plastic object was trash behind the can. When I first arrived there was a guy standing near the entrance that looked like a less than honorable guy. I circled and thank God he left.

Good experience. We were near a shopping mall. Lots of restaurants to choose from and short distances to Fort Jackson and the zoo.

The best night sleep I've had in a while. The staff is friendly and gave me excellent directions.

Everything was great and what I would expect for the price. Usually, at most places I stay, the showers are lacking, but the shower at this hotel had lots of great water pressure with a unique massage shower head.

I came to town to attend my son's army boot camp graduation. I've never been to this part of the country so didn't know what to expect. The hotel was located near plenty of restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff was good and friendly. I only had one problem and that was my card key didn't work two different times when I got back to my room. I had to go back down to the deck each time and once after they recoded it, it still didn't work but other than that I had a good stay.

Very quiet. Cynthia from housekeeping was outstanding- cheerful, helpful. This lady is an exemplary representative for the Wyndham brand. We forget some pants when we checked out. They were found and held for us until a family member could get them. Very good experience

I made this reservation Oct 11 for the same night. When I got to the motel I was told that I had made the reservation for Oct 30. I was told by the mgr. that there was nothing he could do. When I asked him for a number to the corporate office for Wyndham I was told me they didn't like that information to be given out. When I pressed him about it, he finally gave me the number. I called the corporate office and was informed that the hotel mgr had already called and refused to do anything about the problem. I asked if they would give me a credit for another stay as I travel to Columbia, SC on business quite often. They refused to do that also. I travel alot with my job, staying in motels 3 or 4 nights a week and I have never been treated this way. Since this has happened we will no longer include the Wyndham chain when making our travel plans.

Just one night here. Helpful & friendly desk clerk. Clean & comfortable. Didn't get to stay for breakfast, but looked great!

Overall, our stay was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was hot and ready every morning. WiFi worked great. We would suggest this location to others.

Room smelled a bit musty. Very inconvenient to only have one night table. Although there are signs on every floor indicating Vending and ice, the only place to get ice was on the first floor. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and all in all we had a very nice stay. The Shoemakers

Hotel staff was extremely friendly, rooms were clean, the location was quick off the highway and safe. We were in town for a wedding so we really weren't looking for a hotel that offered a lot of extras because we would be out of the hotel a lot. But what we got was well worth the money. The breakfast was decent & I liked the fact that it went until at least 10:30 a.m. The pool area was clean and relaxing and had plenty of seating. There is a mall right across the street, which was very convenient for that forgotten item! Really, the only downfall is the lack of a bar within walking distance. There is a restaurant next door, but it was closed at 10:30pm on a Saturday night so I don't really know what they offer. Besides that, everything else was great! Definitely on my re-stay list.

Room was great. Breakfast was great. Was able to find the hotel from the airport with no problems. The lady at the front desk knew the area very well and was able to give directions to the wedding I was attending. I use this hotel whenever I visit the area. I would recommend it to family and friends.

Beautifully kept, wonderful area. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, they even a complimentary snack in the evening. Across the street from a mall, theater is minutes away. Large variety of places to go and eat. Would definitely stay there again. About a 20 minute ride to the airport.

It's a pleasant hotel, clean, comfortable, roomy, nicely decorated. The check in staff was very friendly and helpful, even calling me in my room after I checked in to ensure that I was happy with the room. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful with a very broad selection. I don't have anything bad to say about this hotel and am impressed that the quality overall exceeded my expectations.

lackluster customer service

worst experience!

We are so sorry for the experience that you had a bad experience when you checked into our hotel. What happened to you was not represented of what our service normally is for our guest. I will be looking into this to find out exactly what happened and take steps to ensure that this doesn't happen to you or any other guest again. As far as the walls we are of the oldest properties in this area. Of course building weren't built back then like they are now. We will be updating some of our features in the future and we hope that you will give us another try when you are in this area again.

We are so sorry for your inconvenience. We are looking into getting all the carpets cleaned and hopefully that will help with the musky smell. We are also going to be going through some updates in the near future.

Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your stay. We strive to have very friendly staff so that we can make your stay as pleasant as possible. We are having some issues with housekeeping. Most of out room attendants are fairly new and still in training. I will share this with them and use it as a learning experience. I hope that you will give us another chance so that we can show you that we aren't always like this. Thanks again for staying with us and we hope to see you again soon.

I came to town to attend my son's army boot camp graduation. I've never been to this part of the country so didn't know what to expect. The hotel was located near plenty of restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff was good and friendly. I only had one problem and that was my card key didn't work two different times when I got back to my room. I had to go back down to the deck each time and once after they recoded it, it still didn't work but other than that I had a good stay.
