big room fully equipped with a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, a sink, and everything you could ask for; it made me felt like I was renting a studio apartment; spacious room; clean; location is great -- near one of the groceries store
The best thing about this place is the grocery store about a block away...and that made the place click, for the room has a nice little stove top and large refrigerator, so you can grab some grub t the store and have a relaxing evening "at home" while vegging on mindless TV until you fall asleep. The room was clean as expected, but the hall carpet was filthy...kind of noisy, but you expect that from a flop house...I enjoyed it!
My wife and I along with our 2 dogs stayed here recently and found it to be a good experience. The room was quiet and clean as was the entire property. The fitness room had a treadmill and elliptical and was open 24 hours which worked well with our schedule. There is plenty of room to walk the dogs and a covered pavilion to stand under adjacent to a grassy area which was nice when it rained and they still needed to "go". I wish they offered a breakfast but the price along with the pet friendliness makes up for that easily. It is our new "go-to" for Columbia.
Newer property with clean rooms, helpful staff. Reasonable price (booked through Hot Wire) easy to find off the interstate. The grab and go breakfast is very minimal. No pool or hot tub. Reasonable place to stop if the price is right.
For the low price, you get more than expected. Rooms are clean, and quiet, though somewhat dated. You could get more modern amenties elsewhere, but its still decent here. I only stayed one night, but could be happy staying here a week or more. I did not use the gym or laundry facilities. The choices of food and drinks in the pantry are paltry. Lots of restaurants to choose from nearby.
Very reasonable rate for a Clean Kitchenette Room . Comfortable Stay with Adequate Room / Good Television Lineup / Descent Shower / and Nice Desk Space . No Problems with my Stay and I would Stay Again if in the Area .
I have stayed here a few times and am not returning. The red hair desk clerk wasn't particularly friendly or helpful The vintage wall mount swing arm lamps on either side of the bed were plugged in, had bulbs, but didn't work. Diswasher is not secured so when you open the door the dishwasher comes out of the cabinet The chrome and vinyl garage sale desk chair's seat was torn has no padding and was missing a wheel. The TV speaker has a crackle, the remote does not work properly and its not the batteries as I had to go to the front desk to get new ownes to find out its the remote. Asked the front desk next day if I could get the remote replaced. I am still waiting and have asked three times. The HVAC filter hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Wifi is intermittend and not reliable and when staying a few days or even longer this is a problem. Called the support Active networks (located in Chicago , IL) and find out theonly thing they can do is power cycle the Hotel gateways. The issue with many of the things mentioned is nobody of the hotel is pro-active and they lie to the guest to keep them calm or they don't care as they only want rooms filled with guests. Room not clean or if its realy cleaned there is always something not done. If it the shampoo or soap in the bathroom or they did not give you coffee. When you ask for the manager , well he is in the building, but don't expect to speak to him. He will not come to your room and find out what they can do to improve the service. When you ask the front desk about your request to speak with the manager you will get some lie. When staying on the lower floors expect to wake up early as the walls are thin and sounds from above can be heard. It could be a decent place, if under different management and the cleaning service and mainteneance guy did there job.
Room was clean, very basic, shower was good, bathroom was spacious. The parking lot was salted after a ice storm. No breakfast available for short-time visitors. The mini-kitchen is nice, including a full sized refrigerator. I would stay again.
Clean, basic place to sleep, initially very reluctant to provide a extra pillow, but after I complained, he brought one to my room, room was quiet, clean, bathroom decent, right down the street from a tgi Fridays
My wife and I stayed here from Friday 9/30/16 through 10/02/16, while we attended the Roots & Blues Festival at Stephen's Park. The location was Excellent and easy to get to and from the Festival. The room was just OK. There was someone else's hair,( long dark) which neither one of us have, already in the bathroom tub and sink. The bed was suppose to be a Queen, it was a Double Bed. BUT the place did serve the purpose.
