Miscommunication with online travel “agent” and hotel that was directed at me. Broken phone, loud noise. Room was pleasantly clean & spacious. Food good

It was ok. Third floor is noisy because a cleaning person lives there.

Needs a lot of work. We were on the second floor with a broken elevator that had been down a while. For an older person with bad knees and a worse back it was not good. However since we wanted smoking rooms and they are second floor I couldn't complain. The A/C worked fine but only cooled on one side of unit. There was dust on chair rungs but the rest of the unit looked clean. Every person we talked with was friendly and very helpful. I would use this again if I needed to go back to Fort Jackson.

Front desk staff tried to charge me when I already paid via orbitz. Couldn't figure out my reservation. Door to room had broken lock. Front desk staff was a bit rude when I questioned having to pay again. Weird smell in room.

I am a frequent business traveler to this location. This is an old hotel in dire need of upgrading. Everything from fixtures, carpets, beds and linens including the bed covers and the tub and sink need replacing. The pillows were actually good though! I stayed here as a last resort when I could not find a room in the other six or seven hotels in the immediate area. I was glad to get the room, but going in, I knew it would not be what I was accustom to... even though the room was priced similarly. Would stay again, but only if there were no other options.

I chose this hotel because it was cheap and close to Fort Jackson (about 10 minutes). The breakfast is good and the room is comfortable for the price. However you could hear other guests through the walls and it sits directly next to the highway.

This hotel was located directly off the interstate. Gas, food, etc all located very close by. If you are passing thru Columbia on your way to some place spectacular as was I then you will be hard pressed to find a better value.
