The shower will not stay at a steady temperature. It goes back and forth from very cold to very hot, would have been dangerous for a small child to use. Saw a couple spiders and ants in the room and their was hair on the wall of the shower. The rooms are very big and it could have been a great hotel but it wasn't. Especially for the price.

Arrived at desk to find out that my reservation which was made three weeks prior was cancelled on day of arrival by the hotel. The hotel did have one extra room available which was not the one that I reserved. Upon entry into the room, the room was hot and the A/C wasn't functioning. I called the Front Desk and was told that they would send up their maintenance person as soon as he was done completing the shuttle run (??). So, I told the Front Desk that I would go to get a bite to eat and the maintenance guy could enter the room to fix the A/C. When I returned, the A/C unit was running, but the unit was blowing hot air. I called the Front Desk who informed me that the maintenance guy reported that the A/C was fixed and closed out the repair request. After several more calls, the Front Desk finally agreed to move me to another room.

Because of the Soup Kitchen being so close there was a "bad neighbor" bothering my niece, and when the staff was told they just sent him on his way, but he kept coming back. They say they change the sheets two times during your visit but I stayed 7 days and my sheets were never changed. I had breakfast there, but the help started breaking down the buffet about 1 hour before it was time to close. My key card kept not working and I had to walk a distance to the front desk to get it re-keyed. The maintenance man smelled like he had been drinking when he was helping make the first key card work in the lock.

I say it is within walking distance of Downtown, however the homeless are crawling all around this area. Not a problem for us though because we didn't walk and none of them bothered us. Not the best place I have stayed but certainly not the worst. The rooms are clean and spacious with the room and a living room area. Upon reading reviews about this hotel I had assumed it was remodeled or in process of being remodeled. I suggest they fire their contractor by some things that I saw but nothing affected my stay. Bathrooms are small and outdated but it was a nice warm shower. The bed was as comfortable as a bed can be for it not being your own bed. Breakfast is a typical hotel breakfast, nothing special, but sausage was disgusting. My Husband and I were in town for business reasons and stayed for 4 nights and overall it was not a bad stay. It was a great place to lay my head down after incredibly long days.

Very Comfortable, liked 2 bath rooms, and 2 rooms.

The hotel had just painted the floor we were on and hadn't put the base boards back or even the smoke detectors. The smell was still very strong and the ice machine on 3rd and 2nd floors didn't work. The elevator is barely enough room for a person and large suitcase and needs some updating.

One flop after another. The manager comped some room service the next morning and apologized, but the service was pretty bad other than that. And the room was a mess when we got there. Somebody else had already used that room and left.

For the price, this was great! Large clean rooms. The decorations aren't the newest, there were homeless people nearby, but I was very happy with the large TVs, beds, 2 bathrooms, nice breakfast.

This hotel is great if you want easy access to downtown and all other major Colorado Springs got spots. If you plan on spending a lot of your time out and about in the area or city, this hotel is perfect for that. After a long day out it was nice to come back to a safe, clean and comfortable room to rest. The complimentary breakfast is decent... It's not a full restaurant and the food is not gourmet. If you're looking for okay juice/coffee, cereals and some hot food to get you out the door, you'll be okay. Please keep in mind that this not a resort. It is however, a decent place to rest and enjoy the area!

The suite had a lot of square footage, but wasn't any thing fancy for the money. I'd stay there again.

When compared with rooms occuppied by my sister, sister-in-law and others, my room (#160) wassmall and shabby. The closet in the bedroom had no rack. There was no hot water for showers at 8:00 A.M. I got up at 6 the next day to get some. The food my niece ordered from room service was not edible. The ice machine near me did not work. I'll stop there.
