Nice hotel and very helpful and courteous staff. .............Good location

Good location, is adjacent to the Quality Inn. and right off Interstate 25. Although the two hotels have separate lobby's, they appear to be connected. Room was average, clean and adequately comfortable beds, good for the price.

The room was nice and clean. A little noisy, could hear people walking above. Overall, not bad for the price.

The hallways were dirty, the room felt dirty, the plumbing did not work right in the tub, bathroom cramped, just did not feel clean.

Location is great. Close to downtown and Colorado College. However, the hotel is really in poor repair. Wifi connection is so poor that it is worthless. Another thing that takes away from the hotel is the number of transients digging through the garbage can in front of the hotel. This place could be great if Clarion would put a little money and effort into it.

Dirty sheets, hotel ran out of towels. The weekdays we stayed they were black topping the parking lot. Lack of good recommendations on where to park. Fire alarm battery went dead in our hallway overnight and kept beeping. Beds felt like a spring was going to poke you in the back. Homeless people hanging out in the back of the property. Surprised that hotel staff didn't address that. Water temperature in the bath tub changed frequently and pressure was low. Air conditioner temperature was completely off and not effective in filling room. In addition, a young blonde hair girl checked me out at the front desk and I shared some of these concerns. She didn't apologize or try to make it right. Lack of good signage to direct you to your room. Thought with the rate they were charging I would get more. Very disappointed!

There was no heat in the gym. The room and facilities were clean, yet rundown and in need of upgrade. It was very difficult to regulate the heat in the room. Was either roasting or freezing throughout the night. Bed was too soft. Woke up with a stiff back! Price was right. If we paid any more we would have been disappointed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I was there a week! Construction was being done because the building is old and outdated. I was gone all day so I can't say much about noise. It was CLEAN, and that mattered most to me.

My initial room had a broken closet door and an overheating fridge which was left open. I called the front desk to switch rooms and they promptly did so and apologized for the first room which was very nice. The rooms were clean and sufficient to what we need which was a place to sleep. I did not like the color of the bathroom which was all brown a little unsettling. The breakfast was good with a variety of hot and cold items. We liked the biscuits and gravy. The overall hotel needs a little TLC, it could use new carpet, paint, and some redecorating. They had signs all over saying improvements to come. Hope they do those improvements to give it a nice facelift.

Hotel was quiet and comfortable. Good weekend breakfast.

I liked staying here. It is a great place for the cost.

It was a great place to stay. Friendly staff and very quiet!

The hotel is OK, but nothing to write home about. It's right off the highway so it's convenient, but the rooms are outdated and banged up. We visited the hottub/pool area and wouldn't get in because there were dirty towels and dust everywhere, and the workout area and machines looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. If you're looking for a place to rest your head for the night and get a free breakfast then you'd probably be fine but I wouldn't spend more than a night or two here.

The room was good for the price, the building is nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious. My ONLY complaint is that the surrounding noise around the room was very able to be heard. We were next to a housekeeping closet which was very loud each time it was opened and we could easily hear people walking upstairs. It wasn't a terrible issue, but for people who wake easily from noise, this might be something to consider. Otherwise it was exactly to be expected for the price. Clean and roomy.

This hotel was worth it. It was close to Garden of the Gods and really easy to find off I25, which is good because I get lost easily. The room was big and the bedding was bright white and clean.

Nothing memorable in a good or bad way which I suppose is a good thing for a place like this...

I definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a stay for under $100 in a location that is close to whatever you need. Customer service from staff was great and cleanliness of the hotel was great as well. There is a great pool and hot tub and a lot of courtyard space to hang out or let kids play outside. The fall backs are the location and amenities. There is a hotel restaurant that was closed and the breakfast advertised was out of most options at 8 AM. Also the location is in a pretty rough part of town but if that doesn't bother then there should be no concern. I would definitely stay here again and I do recommend the hotel.

The staff was friendly. The location was great, easy access to my sight seeing destinations. The pictures online are true. I really got lucky and was able to check in 1 hour before the check in time, which was great. The only downfall was getting my suite cases down the stairs to take an elevator to my room on the 3rd floor and not being provided with an extra roll of toilet paper.

Two hotels in one. Combined with a Quality Inn - same owner. Definitely not a 3 star hotel. This is an older hotel that needs upgrading. AC rumbled on & off all night. Bathroom/shower/toilet/sink is a postage stamp with no ventilation. Could hear people walking on the floor above. Fortunately, it was pretty clean.

The room was updated but hallways still need help. Breakfast was good. Get there early or about half hour before it ends, otherwise too crowded and no tables left. The pool was way too cold!!
