big comfortable room in a hotel near to the "Stadtbahn". In 10/15 minutes you are in the middle of the city. In the room you have a giant TV. The staff is very helpfull and the breakfast is very good. Newspapers and books available.

Lovely comfortable rooms. Restaurant is good although limited menu (pasta, pizza, salad) for lunch. Got sauna, solarium and gym. Being Swedish I don’t mind but please note sauna with associated relax room is mixed and nude. Breakfast very good. Close to Christmas markets. One slight negative is noise from trams if you (like me) get a street facing room.

Hotel has a good location very close to tram stop that can take you wherever you need in the city. My reservation did not include breakfast, but it was not a problem because there is an amazing cafe/bakery just across the street. The room is quite new, quiet, very clean and the bed is very confortable. I do recommend the hotel

I was looking for a hotel for a weekend trip and the prices in the inner city were way through the roof, so I looked a little farther outside when I stumbled over this hotel. The pictures had me sold right away, but pictures aren't always very reliable. After checking it out a little more it seemed a good fit for us anyway, and the price was very OK too. So we booked it. What should I say, of all the hotels we've stayed at in cologne, this was the best until now! It was very clean, staff were VERY friendly and welcoming, and the room was superb. Quality all the way, a giant TV, great FREE wi-fi access in our room, and we didn't hear much noise from adjacent rooms. When I say "outside the inner city", that doesn't mean it's far away. You have a train station right in front of the hotel, which takes you to the city whithin a few minutes. The hotel has its own parking, which was a must for us. For people not wanting to pay for the hotels own breakfast buffet there's a very charming little café/bakery right down the street, which serves breakfast as well. All in all a very relaxing experience, and we will definitely return!

Clean modern hotel, helpful staff, excellent customer service via English. Food good quality, but not large portions. Wifi good and fast, desk and facilities in room plugs, coffee machine etc all very good. Safe secure parking easy to access. Lifts are slow and hard to access at busy times, because people take ages trying to understand the concept of the lift needing your room key to operate, take the stairs instead, but be prepared for your room key not to allow access to your floor. The security measures are commendable but when the system is inept through operator incompetence or system error then it is a massive inconvenience. Be prepared for a real and substantive risk of secondary smoke induced lung cancer while at or near the environs of the front door or the terrace part of the restaurant, while this in and of itself is not the fault of hotel staff it is more a cultural stain perpetuated by other guests and locals but it is disgusting to be subjected to it while walking in the door or attempting to dine. I don't smoke and admittedly I have no tolerance if those who do, yet I do suffer from flatulent outbursts after the occasional dalliance with unfamiliar cuisine, notwithstanding this I have the manners not to release my flatulent exhaust on persons in close proximity.... smokers neglect such social graces in this country. However a good hotel would return.

This hotel is ideal for anyone looking to participate in the Cologne Marathon. The hotel is easily accessible by the fantastic city tram system. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms are spotless clean. We enjoyed a meal outside on the decking attached to the hotel bar and the meal was very tasty. The choice at the breakfast bar is immense but if breakfast is not included in your package be mindful it is expensive. Only fault other than that was the elevator card system, it appeared alot of guests struggled to activate system, it was temperamental.

I booked this hotel as I was running the 2017 Cologne marathon. The location was perfect. €2.90 for the s line from Airport to Messe Deutz. Only a 4 minute walk from Messe Deutz station. Check in smooth. Room spacious and fantastic sound proofing. This was essential as my room overlooked a rail line. Breakfast at the Glashaus was superb. Special mention to Suleiman who operated the egg station. Never met someone so friendly and helpful. A credit to Hyatt regency. Dinner at the Glashaus was pricy and small portions. Ok for pre marathon not post. I also had a massage from Ute whom was a thorough professional. The race start was 4 minutes from the hotel. The finish was further away but you need a nice walk post marathon. In summary if you are running into Cologne marathon this hotel is perfect.

The hotel reception is nothing special, the lobby next to it is designed a bit like a living room for a gentleman. Using key card when in a lift was not always working but we managed. We were suprised by entering the room - it was modern, large and it improved our impression about the hotel. We could use sauna, fitness and minibar for free. The hotel is outside the centre but it has got good and direct access to Cologne Messe by public transport. The hotel´s restaurant is nice with modern design.

We visited this hotel as part of a last minute weekend get away we decided to do as a family. The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood with different eating venues nearby as well as public transportation. The city center is only 10-15 mins away via public trans. The hotel staff is very friendly, rooms are spotless and the staff is very helpful as well. The hotel restaurant has excellent pizza and really good beer, the atmosphere is also very welcoming wether you’re with family, friends or there for business.

This is a very nice hotel; only 20 minutes from the city Centre. It is modern, clean and the room is very comfortable. The breakfast has a wide but standard selection of food. Everything is there and it is fresh! I would certainly recommend it!
