The receptionist was ok.. not bad. But the restaurant waitress was rude. The hotel is old and not as expected. There are creepy cracking sound on the floor. The neighbourhood super quiet and empty. Even though it's near to the train station. But the train station not so useful for the city tour

I book a new contemporary deluxe Room and when I arrive I was in the old Part of the hôtel, very old fashion style. As I claim that the room doesn’t satisfy me they told me that the kind of room that I booked was not available that night because the hotel is fool. After I resign myself I’ve seen a Guillaume buses of customers arrived.

Pleasant stay. Great bathroom. Excellent location close to train station and within 10min of the old town.

After overnight flight to CDG and train to Colmar, we were exhausted and not at all sure what to expect from hotel we had selected on internet. What a pleasant surprise to find a very inviting hotel literally steps from train station. The personnel at the hotel reception always spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The rooms were fine and the bathrooms were better than expected. The room with a double bed was much smaller than twin bedded rooms. Both our room and our adult son's room were spotless. After walking around the lovely town with parks and bridges and eating in a great German restaurant, we were glad to have found the Grand Bristol.

The Grand Bristol, right across the street from the train station (but our room faced away from it and was quiet) is very conveniently located. It is a pleasant 10-minute walk to the charming old town section of Colmar, with all its cafes, restaurants, and sights. Most rooms are not air-conditioned, though, so the weather is a very important factor; had it been hotter, we would've been uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet is large and very good; and the gourmet restaurant (one Michelin star!!!) is a gem. Wonderful Alsatian atmosphere at the Bristol.

Dear Guest, We are so sorry to hear about this story. In fact, it was an upgrade in our mind, but, it is true that the style of the rooms is not similar at all. Please, do not hesitate to contact us if you are coming again in Colmar. We will offer you a special price for the deluxe room. Kind regards,
