This place is awful!! Dirty, cigarette burns all over the bedspread, crazy partying in the room next to and also the room above me. Seriously, stay away!!

Was a good property for the location and the age. Everyone was very nice. The aminities were lacking account of vivid so no issues there. Property could use some updates but all and all no issues
The room was clean. Shower faucet needs repair. Partly due to CV-19 breakfast was shut down, however before the shut down there was not much of a selection to eat. No coffee creamer or sweetener other than a little sugar. Cigarette smokers hung out by the front door all the time...very offensive to non-smoking guests. There needs to be a smoking area where they can breath & blow on each other.
The first room I received had bed bugs! I was extremely upset and terrified. I told the front desk woman who moved me to another room, but early this morning I was awaken by bed bugs in my “new room”! Very upsetting!!

rate was great. Bed was good, room was clean. however fresh bath linens were NOT supplied for the second day nor was the bed made. The shower lever fell off and the holder for the hand held wand is about to fall off. The shower water shut off valve does not operate properly. The toilet rocks and rattles. In other words plumbing maintenance is needed. Breakfast is really weak. But I guess you get what you pay for....
The lady at the front desk was rude and demeaning towards myself and my guest. The lobby was univiting. Chairs were onto of tables. Elevator and non smoking room were both musty. Curtains had holes, window was filthy. Wanted to light a candle in the room. Was told I would be charged $120.00, if we lit ANYTHING. I do NOT recommend staying there.
Orbitz took my reservation, but when I got to the hotel they told me they had no rooms available. So it was a horrible experience whoever is at fault here whether its Orbitz or the hotel
There was a used wash cloth still hanging on the shower curtain . Floor was not vacuum, water drains slow in sink, tv won’t work and the room smells misty . When we checked in she was very nice but couldn’t match our phone number to the reservation that we made. Strange
When I walked in, the smell of smoke was so strong. It made my eyes water. The room was clean. The breakfast area was week. There was only one waffle maker, very few choices for anything else. Only about 3 tables, and the smell of smoke.
The room was only slightly more updated than the rest of the hotel... the outside is abhorrent- I really thought we were in the wrong part of town and maybe we were. The screens of nearly every window were either sliced or punched out. The place is clearly not well cared for. The neighboring hotels appeared To have much better “curb appeal”. The bathroom was slightly updated with an ancient vanity. It was a strange place and I certainly didn’t feel comfortable staying there but we lived through it. I would not stay again now that I know there are other options right next door. This was a last minute reservation and I think we just got what was available - and it wasn’t the two nicer hotels surrounding it. The tables were dirty at breakfast- and not a very big space to allow more than two people to fill up at a time... long story short- this place did the trick on last minute notice, but would not stay here again if I could avoid it.

Beds were good but called down and asked for pillows and a couple towels. Never came to the room.
The room had a small to it but expected considering smoking available. The a.c. unit didn't work, reported it on our way out and came back to a cold room! They replaced the unit and set it to cool off the room.
Nice no frills room for the price. Would stay here again.
I had reserved the room for a one night stay, mostly to sleep. We had went to take a mini vacation to St. Louis. It is 30 minutes away from most things we wanted to do, but not a bad drive at all. The room was clean the bathroom was clean. Thank goodness as I am picky about that. The staff was very friendly, great people. The downfalls were that the room didn't have an iron or ironing board and the continental breakfast didn't have much to select from. I can't comment on the pool because I only saw it and did not get in. It did look clean though. Overall my experience was a good one. I would recommend this place for an overnight stay.
