La Quinta Inn College Station

Maybe it's common in Texas, but some of the guests were BBQ in the hotel. Anyway, hotel lobby was fine, and staff were friendly. However, the room had a pretty strange and annoying odor. If given the option, ask for rooms in the main part of the hotel (around the pool), not the one across the street. The room quality around pool seemed better.

This is an older hotel and has dated rooms, no problem. However, they smell of mold, and are filthy. Bugs, stains, loud AC.

Helpful friendly staff and great location food walking distance it was great!! Pool was clean.

La Quinta Inn at College Station is a good hotel. The room is comfortable with a high speed internet. I would give it 4 Stars for the price that they offer.

Wish the beds would have been bigger, other than that room was fine.

The hotel is right across from campus so very convenient. However, it needs some upgrades compared to other La Quinta locations we have stayed in recently. Should also have improved housekeeping as our bed was not really made well.

Needed a place to stay while we were visiting the campus at A&M. Great value for the location and the beds were comfy.

Rundown and dirty! No parking! Smoking everywhere! NOT clean! Terrible setup! Maids even wore masks to every room! Never again!!!

The room was not cold enough everytime the unit turned off it was too hot and it was set on 60. Everything else was great.

This La Quinta is obviously the favorite choice for work crews and transitory work teams for the area. Staff was friendly and helpful but the 18-wheeler parked outside and running all night made for some restless sleep.

The location is really good for late night dinner outtings. If I were to give any necessary issues, the only one and is extremely minor, if you forget your key card when checking out, you have to walk a little longer around the building to get to the lobby because the units are all lead outdoors.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. They welcomed my pet. Breakfast was free and had everything I needed. The only thing was that the room key didn't work initially. I had to drive back to the office to get them to work. I would stay here again. Good price!

The staff was nice when checking in but not personable. The bed was very uncomfortable and there was a terrible smell when the furnace was turned on. The faucet in the tub dripped. For a one night stay just to sleep for a few hours it was okay but I definitely will not stay there again and the price increase just for a game weekend is ridiculous. The room isn't worth the regular rate let alone double.

Great location and near great places to eat. Very quiet. Great place to stay especially football game weekends.

Terrible! First room had fleas!!! They sent us to another room that was under construction. Then sent us to a 3rd room that was also under construction. Finally by the 4th room they got it right... And offered no compensation for our trouble.

I arrived at the check in time that was verified with me online and with a staff member. When I arrived I was told it was going to be another 45 minutes, take into account I got there 1 hour after I was told to check in. The staff was rude, unhelpful, didn't answer questions, and did not show any care for the customers. I will NOT use this hotel again.

Close to venue. Clean, comfortable. Nothing fancy but would stay again for the price. The staff were very friendly and accomidating.

we stayed here for a vet science day at A & M. the beds were comfortable, but rooms kind of noisy. also not any extras, we only had one plastic cup in the bathroom for 2 people. it's an outside entrance, so wouldn't be safe or good for students alone while visiting.

This is a great place to stay if you’re in town for one night, or if you won’t be spending much time in your room. While the service was friendly, it definitely lacked that “make you feel special” quality. The room was clean and comfortable, but bathroom was small, cramped, and out dated.

We stayed overnight for a campus visit and football game. This hotel is in a great location, very accessible to campus, with a free shuttle service from 10-5. The rooms are nothing to write home about and the walls are thin, but we were just looking for a place to crash. TV had limited channels and no options to download a movie.
