It was dirty.

Beware of this property- the photos are definitely deceptive!! The staff was wonderful and as helpful as possible, but the facilities were horrible. The room we had was decrepit; the carpet was in deplorable condition. The only thing in the room that wasn't questionable or concerning was the bed. The hotel parking area was sketchy and just didn't feel safe. We have stayed at tons of La Quinta hotels before, and this has never been our experience with this chain. If you are in College Station- definitely spring for a nicer hotel!

This place was completely terrible. They take advantage of the fact that they are close to the stadium and have no pride at all in their property. It was a dump nastiest place we have ever stayed in

It was very pleasant but the other occupants could be heard.

Terrible condition. That all you need to know. The units across the street are terrible.

Was told my room was ready at noon when I called- arrived at 3:00 and was told room wasn’t ready and I needed to return in 30-40 min. Room was dirty with other human hair in bathroom upon arrival -

I understand fully that there were extreme weather conditions in effect at the time I checked in. What was not tolerable was how rude the desk clerk was. He was mumbling out loud to everyone in the lobby about how much he hates his job. I had a prepaid reservation, but he gave rooms to four separate guests who walked in with no reservations, first, becuase they were cute girls from the local college. They got room hours before me while I sat in the lobby for 4 hours waiting for a room.

The hotel was OK, but it needs serious renovation.

The room was dirty and smelled like mold and urine. I found black mold growing on the wall. The room looked like it hadn’t been updated since the 60’s. Had to go out and buy a diffuser to get over the strong urine and mold smell. Paid $288 to spend the night in the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Shame on you LaQuinta and shame on Orbitz for listing such a low class overpriced misrepresented dump of a hotel! I feel like I was deceived and robbed!!!!!!

Easy Check in. Convenient to College. Staff was friendly

old bldg, paint chipping off wall, bathroom needs to be remodeled, and I slept very badly

The staff were great and the location is very close to Texas A&M Campus.

It was an overall nice stay. The beds were too hard and there was very few choices for breakfast

Parents weekend was the cause of the overpriced room. But please, $300 for a room that should be $70 a night. Would not recommend anyone staying there.

Nice staff, however this hotel was a disappointment to many of the othe LaQuinta hotels I have stayed in. The tub had permanent dirt marks, the walls were thin (heard others) and the clientele surrounding the building in nearby restaraunts made it a shady place and lowered the comfort that my vehicle would be safe overnight. I wouldn’t recommend this to my family or friends.

Maybe it's common in Texas, but some of the guests were BBQ in the hotel. Anyway, hotel lobby was fine, and staff were friendly. However, the room had a pretty strange and annoying odor. If given the option, ask for rooms in the main part of the hotel (around the pool), not the one across the street. The room quality around pool seemed better.
