Very nice and helpful staff. Location is a great plus for business.

check-in very perfunctory and conducted from behind a bullet proof ? enclosure?. Can't begin to describe the room, Worn, battered furniture, lights missing bulbs, TV reception horrific . There was a coffee -maker in the room but it was missing the basket for making coffee - went to lobby which had a coffee station of sorts but none made. There was a compact refrigerator in the room but it wasn't plugged in because there were no outlets ? There were what appeared to be bloodstains on the carpet and there were cockroaches in / around the sink. The provided amenities i.e. soap / shampoo were less than adequate - soap wouldn't lather and appeared to be a stick of soap cut from a bar rather than a bar of soap. Sign in lobby forewarning "guests" that towels would be replaced Every other day only. Summary; Worst hotel / motel I've ever stayed in - must now avoid all Days Inn's because of one franchisee? Warning to people looking for advice - DO NOT STAY HERE !

They gave me the wrong room and the wifi password didn't work plus they didn't have a courtesy van to give me and my guest a ride I think I should get back some money or a discount on my next stay

Worst hotel I have ever stayed. Had to move 3 times all for different reason. Smoke smell fire hazard socket and roaches everywhere not sure how this place is even open

The hotel has many bed bugs and is not clean, they were doing the cleaning every third day

Clean bed was comfortable staff very nice I would stay there again

Not worth the money even though I had a none smoking room the room smelled like an ashtray.. The bathe had mold on walls and ceiling....for the money definitely not worth it!

The room was very nice and exactly what we needed for the night. The only thing I didn't like was having a smoking room but no ashtrays.

Very nice staff. No breakfast. Room very basic. Good location.

An average hotel. Good value for the location, nothing special.

The bullet-proof windows at the front desk were the first sign that my stay was not going to be pleasant. The room had no clock; the TV was an old CRT type with very little in the way of stations. Everything seemed rather old and outdated. There was no breakfast service; the coffee service only offered powdered creamer. Worst of all, my daughter was bitten by bed bugs of some sort. We had to wash/dry with high heat all her linens and clothes that she wore when we got home.

I stayed for just one night as a stop over from the airport. The property is old, the rooms are falling apart, and there was no parking. For a single woman traveling alone, I would definitely not recommend this spot. The handle was falling out of the toilet, the shower had gashes out it, the headboard had a big gash out it, and there was either a big burn or big stain on the carpet. Unaware of the area, there are a lot of people walking around at midnight and later, which made me uncomfortable since I had to walk so far from where I parked.

We first came in and there was an undressed woman in front of the door harassing us. Next I requested two cribs and they didn't have it for us. The place smelled disgusting tried to cover up with air freshener and it was too much. We found bed bugs, the doors wouldn't lock, the place was broken down. It was a total mess. Never again.

Like all Days Inn hotels I've ever stayed in; the location of the Silver Spring Days Inn was very good and the room had everything I needed. The hotel was sold out every night I was there. The hotel corridors could get loud though with patrons coming and going and doors slamming.

The location was perfect; close proximity to Washington, DC. The layout of the facility was too spread out; had to walk a far distance to our room. The room itself was very comfortable and clean. Our only issues were there was no WiFi and no breakfast. We were given a WiFi password and access information. Even after being on the phonenwithna technician for over an hour - the connection was unable to be established. There was no breakfast foods offered. There was complementary coffee and tea in the lobby but the employees repeatedly came in and out of the lobby drinking most of it and left the area a total mess! The front desk staff on both shifts were really cordial, receptive and hospitable. I would certainly stay here again.

This is supposed to be a four star hotel. I don't think so. The check in staff was unfriendly. The room was run down. The door to our room did not seal and we could hear all of the noise in the hall. The bed was extremely uncomfortable.

I didnt have the best stay at this hotel, It was a safe location and convienent to where I needed to travel but, I just felt that the customer service cocould have been a little better

The location was ok, as I could get a free bus during the day to the metro. But it needed some upkeep. Vending machines, only soda, sold out. My fridge was not working and my food spoiled. The bathroom floor was very slippery. Some aesthetic issues, but you get what you pay for. The staff was nice. They let me check in early.

First the bathroom was not that clean. Second I ask for a non smoking room, when i walked in it smelled of cigarettes . Overall it was okay, I just needed am inexpensive place to stay for two nights close to DC

I booked a non-smoking king bed room at this hotel since it's rated 4/5 here at O rbitz. The stay at this hotel was the most unpleasant one I've ever had in my life. The hotel is aged and the room was not clean at all. The toilet also didn't work well and made funny noise. What's even more, none of the ice dispensers worked. Also, when I checked in at the hotel, the staff told me that according to their record I booked a smoking room. I thought I must have made a mistake when I booked the hotel online so I asked if I could get a non-smoking one instead. The staff told me that I can only get a non-smoking standard room since it's there's no non-smoking king bed room available. When I got back to the room, I double checked online and it's said in the confirmation email that I did book a non-smoking king bedroom. I went back to the check-in and told the staff about it and staff gave me a non-smoking king bed room. So she's not honest when she told me that there's no king bed room available. Anyway, this's such a bad hotel and simply don't stay there.
