Hotel Astoria

The location is great, but the hotel is more than tired...it is exhausted. Our AC barely wheezed out any cool air. The pipes knocked every time someone flushed a toilet. The decor of the hotel is very worn, but the staff were great. They happily greeted us when we dropped off or picked up our key. I like that about old world hotels. The breakfast was a redeeming quality. Lots of variety and food and beverages all tasty.

Convenient location, close to train station and tourist attractions. Art Deco exterior carries over into the lobby and dining room. The rooms were tired though some were being painted while we were there but for the price the Astoria is hard to beat, our room included a good breakfast selection though it didn't change over three days.

Nice 1920's hotel, with helpful staff. Big bedrooms, slightly cold , heating not working,, outdated tv, good breakfast, no lunch or dinner.tasteful lounges, peaceful worth the stay.

Nice to stay in an elegant, classic hotel. Appropriately updated facility. Wonderful breakfast in a beautiful room.

This was once a grand hotel but now could use some TLC. the carpets in the hallways and stairs were worn and stained. The location, right on the river, was fabulous as was the view. Within walking distance of everything. We had a river view. Close the windows at night because it does get noisy. The beds were not comfortable. We were on the fourth floor and the water pressure was weak. We parked across the river in the free parking area. Just a short walk across the bridge. The meters in the lot by the hotel have to be fed every 4 hours. A full breakfast is served in the morning. It was very good. Despite the beds, I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel location is great. Very golf price. Cero amenities

The hotel is in an excellent location but feels like a throwback to the 1950s. The furniture is old, the elevator takes forever, and the place is badly in need of an extensive renovation.

pleasant stay; not the most friendly, but helpful staff.

The hotel has a good location right on the river with public parking across the street. Although the room was large, the hotel is very, very tired. Room doors seem a little filmsy, but overall, the place needs new carpet and lots of paint. I would not recommend this hotel.
