Could be a little cleaner. Needs some maintenance. Torn carpet in hallways. Staff very nice and helpful! Every trip to the Couer D’Alene area, we stay at this facility.

Hotel smelled like old people and Bad body Oder ..... pretty outdated and falling apart at the seams.... breakfast was the only positive to staying here. Probably won't ever use this hotel again.

Clean room, friendly staff, the hotel looks old but it is getting upgraded slowly. We stayed for an Ironman race twice.

Their motto is affordable excellence and that pretty well sums it up. The facilities are well maintained but do show a bit of age here and there. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Quite nice breakfast. My only complaint is that some rooms face the highway and thus there is traffic noise which could be an issue for some people.

The pool was not working the first night but the next nite we got to swim and the water was cold and the jacuzzi wasn't working at all. The breakfast was the same everyday not much of a selection. I specifically chose this hotel because I have a 15 & 16 year old that always go with me and they love the pool. I have stayed at the shilo at seaside Oregon and it was amazing but this one was not at all what I expected while staying at Shilo inns. It was mediocre to say the least. We stayed for 4 nights and 3 out of 4 were horrible there were people above us with I believe small kids stomping on the floor till after midnight but I let it go the first night but the next night I had to say something and when we did we were told that we weren't the only ones to complain. I get that it's hard to keep kids entertained in hotels but seriously when it's midnight you would think they would have had them be quiet as it was late!!

Clean, but outdated, room temp. control was terrible, heater was noisy, so we turned it off, and then it got too cold. Lots of highway noise.

Very pleased with my stay. The clerk that check me in was very courteous and nice. I just wish the weather had been better.

The staff I would give 4 and on some things 5 stars. They really tried hard to make our stay comfortable. Very nice and helpful. The breakfast was a 4 lots of variety. Staff kept it clean and coming. The condition of the hotel was 1 and 2. We had a king bed at first in an old room. The bed had an obvious large dip. When I lay down on my back I was partially on my side because of how severe the dip was. We requested a different room. They were quick to respond. We asked for an extra pillow they brought it right up. Our next room was a little nicer. A good bed The bathroom floor had been remodeled. The room was pretty loud with the freeway noise on one side and a couple families of loud kids on our floor running and rukesing up and down the halls. It was hard to fall asleep. Too many people smoking at the doors too. We are non smokers. Would have been nice if we didn't have to walk through the smoke. We had dinner at the restaurant right next door and had a great waitress. But We wouldn't stay at the Couer d Alene Shiloh again.

We were shocked and appalled about how dirty this Shilo Inn Was. We had always thought Shilo Inn's were nice places to stay. The entire facility was dirty!! stained carpets, stained bedding and even the pool had cloudy dirty water. The worst breakfast ever!! Coffee was not even ready at 8:30am. The garbage cans in the breakfast room was dirty with food stains all over the garbage bin. The breakfast selections were poor, and the room was dated with scuffed up cabinets etc. The elevator was extremely dirty, especially the carpet. We thought it was a service elevator!! Staff was nice enough, it's really not their fault. THE WHOLE PLACE NEEDS TO BE REMODELED OR TORN DOWN

The room was very warm and had a bad odor but I was able to open the windows and freshen it up. After an hour everything was OK. It was just what I needed to take a rest from driving. Not the best accommodations but reasonably priced. The staff was great. 12-22-2016

Very friendly staff. got to check in early. The room was very clean, and the bed was wonderful.

This is a tired hotel. Shiloh used to be upscale, a place-to-stay hotel. No mattress pads on the bed to protect against bed bugs, carpet dirty, no coffee in rooms. Needs a remodel. Swimming pool was murky, water was green and slimy looking.

Hotel was nicer than I expected. We stayed two nights. Concierge at check in was friendly. We booked through Orbitz. Hotel was able to find out reservation with no problems.

Good location, reasonable price and large comfortable room.

Very affordable for what you get, good size rooms, indoor pool w/ hot tub, sauna, and exercise room. No, it's not a brand new shiny hotel, it is a little older, but is clean and in close proximity to where you need to go (hospital, freeway, food). The staff is nice and the complimentary breakfast is much more than the couple of pastries that some more expensive places try to pass off.

Stayed here on a trip to Whitefish, MT. Perfect location and surprisingly good room.

I was delighted that our room had been hwld without calling ahead to let them know of our late arrival. However, once we got settled in we noticed the carpet was soaking wet under the window and air conditioning. We called to report the wet carpet as I did not want them to think we had done something. When we turned on the fan in the bathroom it made an awful loud stretchy noise we had to turn it off immediately. The place is clean but very dated.they must have recently added the breakfast as they do not have a dedicated facility for it so a make shift set up in the conference room is the best they can do.with 6ft tables (folding)for both serving and eating. The dining tables were set up end to end and too close together you could use the inside seating. The motel maid was the most helpful on our check out day, and Daniel check in night. I would not chose that hotel again.

The hotel is obviously old and in need of upgrading. The room was clean. The tv had several channels that could not be viewed. the sink stopper did not work, the shower device to put on the shower would not retract so we could run water into the faucet. The staff were polite but unfamiliar with couer de alene or anything in the town. The manager was very competent. Hope you fix this place up.

We had a very nice stay, except for the fact that our request for bedding for the hideaway bed never made it to our room after three requests.

The hotel was pretty clean but there was an ongoing issue with the bathroom and the toilet not flushing and they didnt seem to have anyone that could fix the issue.
