The first thing that hits you is the awful smell of this place. The room smelled like a mixture of soured towels, b.o., and old cigarettes. The ac was broken and would literally shake the room when the compressor kicked in. There were bits of food on the tv remote and the batteries were taped in. The bathroom door had a good 2 inch high water mark from the last time the toilet or something overflowed.
Front desk staff was great, hotel was clean. Recommend

Very noisy. Could not sleep. Other patrons in the hotel were partying, yelling, and fighting most of the night. Was very disappointed. Would not stay in this location again.

Found blood on the wall, blood on pillow case, ice machine didnt work, refrigerator was dirty. Hand prints on headboards. Shoukd have checked room thoroughly when we arrived but had tight schedule, notice blood on the 2nd night, late when we got in. Told checked out lady, supposed to get discount, guess that was just a line they use. I wasnt really looking for a discount or a refund anyway. I will jjst never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

The rooms were comfortable, the staff we encountered were friendly. The only negative was their showers...you couldn't stand in the middle without feeling like your standing on a cushion.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it did exactly what we needed it to do. We arrived late Friday night/Saturday morning and the woman that greeted us was very friendly. Our room was clean, bigger than expected, and comfortable. Every room has a mini fridge and microwave, which was perfect for us since we were coming from Chicago and had a cooler full of snacks and drinks. I was a little disappointed that the hotel was an hour from cedar point, but that is my fault for checking the location closer. The housekeeping staff was friendly and made sure we had clean towels even though we didn't need service. My only complaint was that they had a a plastic information card in the room stating that continental breakfast lasteduntil 11am on Sundays, and when we went downstairs at 10:15 they had already cleaned everything up and we then had to go out and buy breakfast. Other than that, this hotel does what it needs to. If you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel that is clean and friendly, this is the place to be.

I am sorry to hear of your time here Rob. I wish you had let our front desk know of all these issues so that we could have rectified them for you, possibly relocating you to a better room. My housekeeping department takes immense pride in keeping our rooms clean and comfortable for our guest.
