Wyndham Cleveland at Playhouse Square

This hotel is a great place to stay in the center of Downtown Cleveland. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean quiet and comfortable. 10 min walk from the Tower City train station and a 25 min ride to the airport. The train is also very inexpensive $2.50. What a bargain! 4th Street is also just a short walk where you can find numerous trendy restaurants and bars. I look forward to visiting again!

Arrived at 11 pm from late flight. Thermostat was on 80 and felt like a sauna. Didn't get to 75 all night. Closet was one dragged in from another room and blocking one side of bed. Bed had no support. Shower couldn't get hot because a metal thing blocked the on and off and temp control. I have been in thousands of hotel all over the world and this was up there with my worst experiences. On way out lady said don't witty because they were going to remodel. I won,t worry because I have stayed in a Wyndham for last time. Also last time I will ever use Orbitz for a hotel.

The elevator was noisy throughout the night and the sound carried into the rooms. Toilet would keep flushing unless handle was jiggled. Some black stain marks on carpet

The restroom in the room was nasty. The tub had mold and missing tiles and we had great difficulty actually getting the shower to work. There was also an unpleasant smell. The view from our room was excellent and the hotel itself is located in a great area. The hotel staff were 'adequate'.

$17 for mediocre breakfast buffet. No menu alternative

Stayed during the world series. The service was great. The staff was wonderful. Everyone went above and beyond to make are stay as pleasant as possible. Would definitely stay again!

we booked 3 separate rooms at this hotel for ourselves and friends and all had a negative experience in each. The cleanliness of the room was clearly rushed. Stains on carpet and toilet, A/C vent disgusting and others. One room only had one towel for party of two. The walls are paper thin and we were woken up to people talking in the halls. The staff were friendly, location good, valet service good. We wouldn't stay again.

It was OK overall. I was happy with the front desk staff, however, the room and building are both a bit old and antiquated. The location is nice, right in the center of downtown, however downtown shuts down fairly early. I had a late check-in on a Thursday night and wanted to grab a bite to eat, but was disappointed by the options around the hotel. Overall, good but not great. Probably would look elsewhere next time I book a hotel in Cleveland.

We booked this hotel after another reservation fell through. It was fine overall, but parking is an (EXPENSIVE) hassle and the reserved self-park spaces are not clearly marked in the lot (and no one will tell you this when you get the parking slip). Our room was fine, but there was trash leftover from a previous guest and for some unknown reason housekeeping knocked on our door at 7 a.m. (despite the "do not disturb" sign being there). The location is great and the bed was super comfortable.

The hotel was nothing fancy, but the location and amenities could not be better! The pool and hot tub were very nice and never in use. We had the whole room to ourselves almost every time we went. Lots of restaurants and attractions within walking distance, great location! The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Definitely recommend this hotel in Cleveland!

We were in town for a convention and were not in the hotel a lot but the staff was friendly, valets were great! The room needed some maintenance done to it, but for the price was fine! Bed was GREAT

I had a great experience here. The only thing that was wrong was the air conditioning was not very comfortable but it was bearable. The staff was awesome especially Kermit.

The hotel is nice and staff are helpful, but the restaurant is a rip-off with incredible slow service. How long would you have to wait for a steak-burger on a slow Monday night? 70 minutes!

Very good staff and location, would totally recommend this hotel

Playhouse on the square was great. The hotel and web could explain about the parking options. Your main choice is to pay the $26 parking fee.

We chose this hotel because of its location, which we thought was great for our needs. We were warmly welcomed when we checked in, and we were always treated with enthusiasm by the staff. Unfortunately, the Internet was sporadic and slow, no fridge in the room and our room was not cleaned by the time we returned at 3 pm on the second day, which was disappointing.

I stayed one night in a king bed room. When I pulled up to the hotel to ask where the self-parking was, I was told it was blocks away and was just an open lot. Oh, not listed in the hotel's description, so of course I took the Valet Parking. $24 a night plus of course tips, really adds to a 1-night stay. Also, there was a fire in the lobby while I was waiting for my car. No one noticed and I walked over to a light display and saw it was on fire and notified the front desk. The bed was very comfortable. I also was about to take a nap when the maid LOUDLY BANGED on my door two separate times. When I went to see who it was/what they wanted, she asked if I had enough towels. NOT COOL, front desk could call instead.

great hotel. great location. We liked the $10 lunch and half price appetizers. Only things missing were hot tub not working and free breakfast.

Indians game plus rock an roll hall of fame plus t He gateway area all walking distance really great

Our family came for an Indians game and arrived at 3:30 (1/2 hr after check-in) and was told that the room wouldn't be ready for 45 minutes because they had a full hotel and 3 room cleaners called in sick. Came back after an hour and was told it would still be another 20 minutes. Came back again after 30 minutes and was told it still wasn't ready. After looking around they said the found a room. However when we went upstairs it was not the suite we booked. went down to the lobby and was told our suite was given to someone else and couldn't get a credit. However, Robert was very helpful and comped breakfast and awarded us points. Next day we went to zoo all day and returned at 5 to find room hadn't been cleaned yet. Robert was great. Rest of staff fell very short. Doubt I would stay there again.
