excellent service and food. Receptionist was very cherry and friendly. dinner was exceptional, breakfast was good.
We really enjoyed our stay! The old style charm and onsite restaurant really made things convenient.
Very friendly staff. Wear earplugs because the trains start very early in the morning and the walls are pretty thin. Food was very good. Just wish the restaurant/bar stayed open a little longer than 8/8:30. Meant a very early bedtime because there was literally nothing to do.
The whole experience was unique and wonderful. Great place to stay. The owner/hostess was a delight. I plan on staying there again when traveling to and from Colorado.
Nice hotel, the nearby train is a problem. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything.
Everything was better than it needed to be. It was charming. Lots of Old West accents: plush velvets, hand carved wood, crystal chandeliers, etc.
I love that this hotel has kept the old charm of when it was first built. It's like walking back through time. The rooms, floors and doors all make some noise of course as the building is so old however the place is so charming that it makes up it. Breakfast was very good and obviously home made. I adored this little old west hotel.
Quaint, clean, historic, uniquely different than the chain hotels!
We had a wonderful time staying here. The hotel is very charming in an authentic western way with many original touches from an age gone by. The staff was very friendly, accommodations were of a plain western nature, but very comfortable. These are good hearted people who have developed a little oasis. This much as it was when people traveled across the plains by train and wanted to be charmed by staying somewhere they would be taken care of.
