Room was nasty used toilet paper in the room foods were a mess staff lied about my refund all around horrible stay.. left 2 days early didnt even refund me..

So we had reserved a King Suite, and the moment we walked in, it reeked. Musty, like the AC filters hadn't been cleaned in a year, but they went ahead and turned them on.

Overall, this is a nice hotel. We truly enjoyed the breakfast and quietness of the hotel. However, when you walked into the lobby it smelled like dirty mop water every time. Maybe just an air freshener? The kids liked the little pool and the nice big room.
The hotel was just fine. I wasn't able to rent the car because when I got to the airport I was told that I needed a credit card because they changed their policy. I had used my debit card with budget in the past and have never had a problem so that is why this was a bad experience for me.
Hotel stay was great. Staff were nice and friendly. There was noticable damage to divider wall and torn lamp shades.

Stayed here while visiting my children in Clayton. The sleeper sofa is perfect for family staying the night in the hotel as extra guest. The hot breakfast in the morning is good and helps in not having the extra expense of going out for breakfast. The hotel is in a great location. It is about halfway between downtown Raleigh and the outlet mall in Smithfield.

We came for a wedding. After the wedding, and late evening we wanted ice cream. Thinking the refrigerator in the room had a small freezer, I purchased 2 half gallons of ice cream. The night clerk was very nice and put it in the hotel freezer for the night with a note we were to pick it up when we checked out. We believe in rewarding kind acts, so we gave the clerk 1 pint of the ice cream. He deserved it, and hotel management did right by hiring him. We hope both desk clerks are still there when we return.
Had a problem with the door in the room and the staff took care of it immediately. Very helpful! Also staff was very knowledgable about the area.
