The coffee pot had coffee still in it. Didn't like the hardwood floors. Bed had metal frame on bottom that made noise. Not terrible but not great
The remote didn't work holes all over the place. It basic the shower didn't work right. the room looked like it was dirty.
I liked the fact I was able to check in close to Midnight.
No dead bolt keys to lock door - we had dog and he got out and we lost him for a few days - lucky we found him.
Usually stay here and its always comfortable. This past stay there was an awful smell in the room and the room was dirty
They had drug addicts staying there in a ground floor unit. The one person was so high the morning I was leaving he couldn't hardly stand up.
It was nice would go back to stay another night. Very comfortable setting.
Price v/s cleanliness and ease of local to eateries, expressway etc. well worth the stay
We stopped to take a nap because we had been on the road driving for 21 hours and we crashed hard. We didn't stay more than 7 hours but the bed was really comfortable. Of course we always bring our own bedding and sleep on top of the bed using a tarp under our bedding as a barrier. Will never trust any hotel enough to climb inside the sheets. Safety first. Safety always. Can't tell you much about the room as we only slept.
Visiting Alma for the annual Highland Games. As the few hotels in Alma are always booked, this hotel has been a yearly stay. Close enough to Alma, the rooms are clean, and there is many food choices nearby.
Overall, the hotel was better than I expected for the price I paid. The staff is very friendly and nice but the room had a musty odor and the WiFi signal was too weak to connect to and they didn't offer an alternate wireless connection.
All as promised. Less than 5 mins to Soaring Eagle Casino. Accross the street from Starbucks.

This motel definetly fits the "you get what you paid for" category. I was visiting CMU with my incoming freshman daughter and it was a little embarrassing when we pulled in. Definetly not a family place. I give the owners credit. They did allow me to move twice because the rooms were a little yucky. So, yeah, it's a lot cheaper than the others but there's a reason for that.
Needs a lot of updating especially for the price...we weren't checking in until 3a.m and the front desk person wouldn't offer a late check in or discount.

It's one of the cheapest rates you will find in Mt Pleasant, but the rooms are quite sub-standard. It felt like I was staying in a dorm room. My greatest complaint was that the bathroom was terribly small, had a drafty window, and had no heat. I had to leave the shower running a while just to warm up the bathroom. In their defense, however, it was a perfectly clean room, including the bathroom.
Staff was very accomodating and allowed us to check in 3 hours early.
This was a very great value for the money. Very Pleased.
