The rooms were quite comfortable. The view from our room was unbelievable! We were looking at the Basilica right across the street. Could see the city from the roof top and the breakfast was fantastic! The staff was very helpful whenever we ask a question. Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel is located less than a km from the Rome Termini station and is 2 blocks from the Metro. The Colosseum is visible from the roof garden restaurant bar. We stayed with our two granddaughters in one of the family apartments two doors down the street. They were delighted with the two story layout that provided them privacy and a sense of adventure that would not have been present in a traditional double queen arrangement. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in terms of logistics and advice about sightseeing. The breakfast in the roof garden was outstanding. The roof bar is an outstanding place to watch the sunset before a very well prepared, unrushed meal in the adjacent dining area. Highly recommended!

This was our third stay . It is a fantastic location and the staff was outstanding. Roof garden bar lovely and the Bar Tender was great. This is just a three block walk to the main terminal and unlike the terminal area it is an upscale neighborhood. Fine restaurant with a world class chef. Highly recommend
Couldn't have asked for a better hotel stay in Rome. All the sites were within walking distance. The room was very well appointed and clean. The staff were all helpful and patient. Breaking was fantastic. The view from the rooftop was amazing with clear views of the Vatican, coliseum, and many other churches. Took a taxi to St. Peter's square and it only cost 12euro. Train station was 3 blocks away so quick trips out of town were a breeze i.e. Tivoli Naples. I was concerned about my choice to book here because of a few sour reviews then realized they were all from people from the U.S or Canada that are not used to typical European accommodations whic are always on the small side. Very safe neighborhood, great places to eat nearby. Did not eat dinner on the terrace because it seemed to draw suit and tie crowds in the evening and we prefer casual but we did eat lunch in the downstairs restaurant and it was a great 3 courses for 10Euro. Perfect stay. New York
Not worth paying the nightly rate for this Hotel. While the rooms and service are good, you can get a slightly smaller room at nearby hotels for a much lower rate.

This was my first stay at the Mecenate Palace. The staff was Excellent , very helpful and very friendly. The rooftop dining for breakfast was wonderful and the breakfast buffet was very nice with many many selections.
