First impressions weren't so go. The clientele was undesirable as we were checking in and the service from the front desk was not impressive. The lobby is pretty bland. The room is decent and clean. The furnishings are fine but a n odd red-orange rust color theme going on. The fitness center looked very basic. The bed was comfortable. Basic toiletry amenities. No rack for suit cases. Lower end towels. It was decent for the class of hotel but definitely a 3 star class.
Nice property, conveniently located. The studios are spacious and have a small kitchen. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall the property is a bit dated and most of the rooms have some small impediments, e.g. sliding doors of the cupboard not working properly. Rooms facing the street or the factory next door can also be a bit noisy, so if you like it quiet make sure you chose a room in the middleof the property.
The location of this hotel is very convenient with easy access to to 71. There are a few restaurants nearby but the area is mostly surrounded by business parks and other hotels. The exterior of the Residence Inn is a bit dated and could use a spruce-up. For example, rooms are have exterior access via common alcoves. On my first night the exterior lights were off making it difficult to see the doors and it felt a bit unsafe. I called the desk and the lights worked the following night. Breakfast is ok a bit reduced from other Residence Inns I have stayed at. The exterior pool was closed (seasonal) but there was outdoor seating, a grill and basketball. Over all it was ok. I did like having a kitchen and a full size refrigerator.
I stayed for two days at the residence inn in blue ash. I was able to get a room upgrade as a gold Marriott member, and was really pleased with my room. I also found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful, and enjoyed the evening reception and the included hot breakfast in the morning. The only downside was there was no indoor pool and hot tub.
The rooms were more like apartments with a kitchen, living area, two bedrooms with on suite bathroom / privacy, and a pull out couch (so accommodated 6 people comfortably). The bathrooms were nice sized and my out of town guests who travelled from Europe enjoyed the free breakfast while at the same time being able to make their own food / snack during the course of the rest of the day. The kids enjoyed the basketball / tennis court. Staff very nice and helpful.
This hotel was booked for me by the Company I work for. I stayed there only for 1 night. My boss and I arrived there more or less at 7.00pm, the lady at the reception was very nice with us and give us a lot of info about the hotel and other topics (breakfast, lunch, dinner, meeting rooms, gym...). We arrived a bit late for dinner but she asked anyway us if we would like to eat something. She gave me a good impression. We did not have dinner so I can not judge their food. Hotel is organized in some little houses, each of them is divided in at least 4 rooms. For us is something unusual as in Italy we do not have such a type of hotels but I really liked it. The room was really nice, with a sofa area with fireplace, a dining area with all you can need to prepare breakfast/lunch/dinner. Bathroom was nice and very cleaned (as also the rest of the room) even if I do not like bath tubes and curtains. I have to say that unfortunately the location of the rooms was not so fine, because we faced some problems in sleeping due to the traffic. So I suggest to ask for a room which is located far from the street. Anyway the overall location of the hotel was perfect for us: it was near to the location of our meeting the next day. Breakfast was really nice: great selection of American foods but also Europeans (in fact I do not like to have eggs and beacon for breakfast but I had anyway a great selection of foods to choose from, well done!). Final comment: very early in the morning they leave the receipt in an envelop at your room door, so it is very very easy and quick to check out: you have only to return back your key room!
The staff at Residence Inn Blue Ash made my teen daughter and me feel very welcome as we relocated to Cincinnati. They were always helpful and accommodating. I miss having a nice hot breakfast ready for me every morning. Soon after our arrival we were able to move into a 2 BR apartment which gave us each space to ourselves in a modern setting in a nicely decorated room. I enjoyed cooking on the grill in the warmer months and always appreciated the extra food on Mondays through Thursdays.
Our stay at this Residence Inn is one of our favorites. Our two bedroom suite was spacious and clean. We especially like that it has two bathrooms and it keeps our family more like a family instead of having two separate rooms. The breakfast selection is always terrific and the staff are very friendly. We have stayed at this location multiple times and never had a bad experience. Would definitely stay there again!
This Residence Inn was one of the best we have stayed at. The whole room was clean and comfortable, everything about it was exactly what you'd expect from a hotel like Residence Inn. The kitchen had full sized applianced and was easy to cook in. The gym was was clean also, but a bit cramped. The building was also very quite unlike previous locations we have stayed at. The location was also ideal, so we will stay at this location again when we return to the Cincinnati area.
Stayed here for nearly two weeks this time. Overall, my stay was fine as I agree with the concept of "residential" hotel that comes with kitchen. But this facility is old and the house keeping cannot perfectly clean especially the bathroom and it smelled mold throughout my stay. A very simple breakfast is complementary but it came same menu each and every day. Requested laundry service a couple of times but the quality of their works were not very impressive as I found some of my clothing returned not perfectly clean. Also, I was not able to find cooking tools such as pans and I could not cook in my room. Good value hotel but a few things need to be improved for me to consider my revisit.
