The workers are rude. The pool is dirty. There’s paint in the pool. Workers did not provide towels. The elevators are falling apart. The rooms are dirty. Hair everywhere. Card to enter room hardly worked. Mold on ceiling. Stains on walls. Near a highway, so that’s all you hear at night. Our room was near the elevator which was terrible. Kept hearing people on our floor slamming doors. Worker didn’t tell us where the elevator was when we first got there. SPLASH CINCINNATI IS TERRIBLE. Do not get the splash and stay package if you have a significant other. It’s boring. Dirty. Too much chlorine. Made me get a rash and made me sick.
Well this is a very nice hotel to stay at while in the Cincinnati area. The whole experience was amazing!! They even have an indoor water park that’s out of this world 🌎!!!! As a matter of fact my family will be returning the last weekend of November just to enjoy the heated waters of the indoor water park!! Amazing!!
No microwave for n the room, got moved to a new room. Access to the room from the parking lot was not convenient. Heat went out in the middle of the night. Not enough towels provided.
Great customer service! Rooms were quiet and the bed was so comfy. All employees from maintenance to the owners were so friendly and made us feel at home. You don’t get customer service like this anymore! If you want a great place to stay, with a hospitable staff, and great location to everything you may need. Stay at this Ramada!! Special thanks to Lynn at the front desk, she really makes you feel welcome and always asked if we needed anything when we would come or leave the hotel, including saying how long her shift is. You are amazing at your job! Also to the manager Nidhi and owner Jay, they know exactly what they are doing when it comes to making people comfortable. You’re whole team is amazing!!! We will be coming back again!
Nice room, but the room key gave us a lot of problems. Also, the hotel should update it's website on what things are actually offered. For example, the pool in the water park is NOT open during regular business hours, anymore, and if you do manage to get to the bar at the end of the night, try to avoid the wedding party- because you won't get served. Bar hours, restaurant hours, and pool hours all seem to be at the discretion of who's working at the time, so buyer beware. Your best bet is to bring your own libations and order in. High chlorine content in the pool, too. Watch out if your or your kids have sensitive skin.
Last year, I spent a less than enjoyable night at the Ramada Plaza Cincinnati Sheraton. A lot has changed since my last stay. First, a minor criticism: the room temperature was a comfortable 74 degrees F although I did set the thermostat at 76 F. The room telephone actually worked this time, and the hotel desk was responsive and polite. The serving area for breakfast has totally changed, with the food and drinks all conveniently placed within a few feet of our table. The dining area was small, but pleasant and comfortable. There was literally no wait for breakfast or coffee, no attempt by hotel staff to hurry us out of the dining area as before, and no limit to the number of sausage patties we could eat. The food was enjoyable and flavorful, with the usual breakfast buffet offerings of sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bagels, small pastries, fruit medley, fruit juices, milk and coffee. In summary, it was an enjoyable family breakfast experience: the type I look for when the family travels. The hotel staff is very pleasant and goes out of their way to offer courtesies. The hotel is clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Our room had a rather strong undefined odor that is less than pleasant upon arrival, but it receded from our attention as we became accustomed to the room. The many minor issues we experienced on our last visit (missing battery compartment lid on TV remote, a split plastic toilet handle, limit of one sausage patty at breakfast, intermittent WiFi and water never reaching the desired temperature for our showers have all been addressed and are no longer issues. For the asking price, I believe now that this hotel is a good value. I also believe that the new management is serious about continuing to upgrade this hotel in the future. I admit that I was reluctant to return for another stay at this hotel, but I am definitely no longer reluctant to book another stay since so many improvements have been applied to the property and to the service. If you are looking for an affordable hotel for the family, I can now recommend this one as offering the expected comfort and value for which you are looking. If you are looking for luxury, look elsewhere. But if you are looking for clean, affordable lodging with good solid food for the family, this hotel will address your needs very well. I am actually excited to see what another year will bring to this hotel under the new management. Perhaps parking will also be improved. Should improvements continue at the rate they seem to have been pursued over the last year, this hotel could be a real gem.
The staff and experience was a wonder one however dispite the expensive feel the beds were definitely lacking. Was probably the most uncomfortable bed ive ever slept on. I will not be staying again just for that one reason.
This place was horrible our bathroom was not clean the comforter on the bed had what I hope was chocolate and not feces. Was put in a room by the presidential suite had to call several times with noise complaints that were clearly not addressed because it continued until about 7am the next day. Gave up the use of my second day pass to waterpark due to no sleep. When I spoke to the front desk manager she took my information and agreed to call me back with some sort of compensation never got the call even after calling two days later to ask about it. We had stayed there before, we go for the park and it's always been a little low budget but this was the last straw for me I will never return!! $$
Me and my family enjoyed this trip immensely and can not wait to do it again. Lots of fun for a readonable price.
Stayed two nights at the Ramada Plaza in north Cincinnati just before Halloween. Terrible experience. First, the parking is a mess. As many functions as they have in their ballrooms, etc, apparently paying hotel guests get the shaft as far as parking goes. With virtually no entrances to the back of the hotel, where the elevators are actually located, guests are forced to park out back and completely circumnavigate the hotel just to get in the door. Second, BEWARE if you are staying on a weekend. Breakfast is NOT included and you will be charged to get a ticket to eat. Ridiculous in this day and age that a Ramada doesn't offer breakfast with a room reservation. Thirdly, the heater stopped working the second night and the room got cold. Lastly, make sure and bring your own food/snacks to the hotel. Vending machines are outrageous as a small Snickers was $2. Sorry, but I'd expect a lot more from a large chain like this. Could have done a Day's Inn for half the price, had breakfast, parked nearby, and had a heater. Not worth staying here.
