Rooms have been renovated to look nicer than the lobby/outside area. Average hotel, did not have anything for breakfast and nothing special. Had to check out a day early and Orbitz needed to talk to the manager to approve a 1 day refund. Never got approved by manager and not happy this location could not accommodate my refund request , after they said in person it would not be a problem. Still can never get manager on the phone for this refund request. Orbitz had no problem initiating the refund and was super helpful but the hotel location did not participate.
We got to the Hotel and were told we needed to pay for the room plus a 100 dollar "incidental fee"! No one mentioned this when making the reservation. Wyndam had already charged our card 140.00 dollars for the room then wanted to charge another 140 for the room plus an 100 dollar incidental fee! We did not have that much money! We told the clerk that they had already charged us for the room. She said that it was not a charge but an inquiry as to whether or not we had the funds available, well guess what, my bank processed it as a charge and took the money from my account! It was not available! We had no money to pay for a room! We were on our way home from Cincinnati Children's Hospital with our son! We were on a tight budget! We had to drive home at a late hour, very tired when all we wanted to do was relax! We will never do business with Days Inn or Wyndam again! They are running a scam!
This hotel was disqusting. The odor in the hallways and stairwell was horrid.....the elevator is barely working so we were afraid to use it. It appears that a large family of foreigners owns or runs this place living there and they have plants and pots growing around the back. Can't see well out the filthy windows. Just gross.

Dear Becky, if you had read the hotel policies regarding our preauthorization and additional authorization needed for the $100 then there would of been no confusion. Before booking, there is a box outlined regarding the deposit needed. Also, you’re stay was canceled for free as your credit card had declined multiple times. You’re review for the hotel is not credited as you did not stay since you did not have the funds.

I am deeply disappointed in this review, not only it is targeting our staff members plus the lies posted in it. Never judge a book by a cover? I don’t understand what appears to be the problem with “foreigners” as staff. The problem with this world starts with people like you. By the way, at least they have the audacity to show up to work happy and proud. I’m deeply sorry that the road construction & recent rain storms made our window views dirty, we have plans already in place to have them cleaned once construction is done. And the smell? What smell are you hallucinating about please explain further by calling the hotel and ask for me directly.
