After our stay at the Villa, I might be tempted to say that this is one of the best hotels experiences you can get in Como Lago. The reception was always available and happy to help us with any issues. However the best part of our stay is hands down the view. From its location on the lake you can remain extremely close to Como the city but far enough to avoid the crowds. As well as this you get a much better view of the lake which is heavenly at all times of day. If you are considering booking a stay make sure you book a lake view it is worth every cent. Though the hotel itself is worth the money the free breakfast will put any other hotels free breakfast to shame, it felt like a 5-star meal.

The location of the property is not bad, rather far from the center of the town, though. The staff was not friendly at all, not accommodating at all. They overcharged for everything, even water. The food at the restaurant was a very overage quality and even though there are plenty great bakeries in town nothing was available at the hotel. I found panties in the bathrobe provided as a clean one and kept wondering if they even changed the linen. the dinner was extremely expensive and very average in quality. I thought I would never say that but I wish I have stayed at Hilton and not this overpriced tourists' trap.

Stunning view from the balcony. Close to the ferry station. From there you can go to many places along the lake. Enjoyed it very much. Would recommend.

The hotel itself and the views are fantastic! There was no air conditioning and so with 70 degree high temperatures in mid September, it was still warm at night. The only way to cool down was to open the windows and the noise from the road and the noise from the lower patios made it impossible to sleep.
We came for business and stayed for only one night. Room condition was completely unacceptable. It smelled terrible inside the room (Room#112) as if someone threw up in multiple areas and carpet was stained and seemed as it was recently washed as it was still wet in some spots. AC was turned on to the coldest setting probably to cover the scent as when it was turned off, the room smelled even worse. Thankfully the weather was great and we were able to leave the balcony door open at night which was the only possible way to sleep in this room. The walls were scratched up as well which was the least of the worries. Really unacceptable for a hotel charging such high prices.
