Days Inn by Wyndham San Diego Chula Vista South Bay is located by the ocean and in an area with good shopping. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Balboa Park and Coronado Beach, while USS Midway Museum and Maritime Museum of San Diego are cultural highlights. San Diego Zoo and Hotel Circle are not to be missed. Our guests appreciate the hotel's central and quiet location. It's also convenient to public transportation: Bayfront - E St. Trolley Station is 3 minutes by foot.
Most hotels or a hold on the deposit, not Days Inn. They actually remove it from your account, which is immediate. Then refund you your deposit which can take up to 7 days. These days there is no reason to actually charge the deposit.The place was really run down. I could have stayed at La Quinta for the same price and it's a whole lot nicer.
It was clean enough for the price. I liked that it was close to the freeway and easy to find. The one ice machine available was broken and the front desk didn’t seem too concerned about getting it fixed. Also, we had a small hiccup with check out. I checked us in as my husband tended to the kids but I had to leave town early in the morning, so he had to check out. They weren’t going to refund the deposit until we put up a bit of a fuss. Overall, it was good for one night.
