Hotel Villas Arqueológicas Cholula

Our room was small and dark. There are 1 single and 1 double beds , both hard and uncomfortable, the worst being the double, too small for two regular size people and tilted. Nice tiled shower and toilet, pretty decorations. Overall everything was clean, worked well. Wifi was outside the room. Noise is a problem since the rooms are around the pool. Both days we were there ,there were parties with adults and kids screaming, loud music etc...this is more an event/party space than a hotel, clearly event taking priority over hotel guests. If there is a event any expectation of quiet and privacy is overruled . Another couple tried to relax by the pool, had to retreat to their room. Not a word of apology . Staff will answer questions when asked. We had a great diner with very nice , professional waiter. They charged 100 pesos for 1.5h overstay. The location is good but Cholula is a small town and you can walk to the pyramid/ church rapidly from the center as well. In a few words, if i can't sleep because the bed is so uncomfortable and if there is so much noise outside that i have to close the door and stay in a small dark room instead of relaxing outside, then i will not go back and i do not recommend that hotel to anybody. Even if the price is right. There are other nice places in Cholula.

We stayed in a 2 room suite. The bed was comfortable. The courtyard around the pool is terrific for dining, relaxing, reading. The location is gorgeous. The food at the restaurant is good. We loved our stay.

Very good service and excellent location. Comfortable room, the food is very representative of Mexican gastronomy. Close to all the top attraction in Cholula and close to Puebla city. eine sehr gute Option zum Reisen

The view from a distance of the church is definitely stunning but you will not see the pyramid itself. Underground tunnels and walkways were pretty amazing to experience and the hike to the top was treacherous. But since the pyramid has been covered up you miss the complete energy of this place. Grounds could be kept up a bit better considering they are in a 'Pueblo Majico' zone.

Due to a wedding of a friend we stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The location is good if you want to see the pyramids as it is almost in front of it. The service at the reception was horrible! It was extremely unorganized and nobody really knew what to do. After fighting for more then 30 minutes with the staff they were finally able to hand in our keys. (Note: never arrive before 3 pm and expect a room to be ready - non of our friends arriving earlier got a room) The rooms are extremely noisy and you hear everything that happens in the hotel - if it's the people sitting at the pool at night, or the couple next door, you feel like being part of it. As it was a special package for the wedding, we had one dinner and two breakfasts included. I would totally recommend you to never buy any package here as the food was cold and really bad. The a la carte menu that you can buy in the restaurant is not the best but ok. Summarizing I would not come back but it is a proper and cheap place to stay if you are looking for a place in Cholula.

This review is ONLY for the Sunday brunch. I went there with my girlfriend, a cousin of mine who lives in Cholula took us there and I gotta say, I was expecting a lot more. The food is by far average, it had absolutely nothing special nor did it have great taste. Even the desserts tasted quite tasteless. It's a nice colonial boutique hotel, the place was clean and visually pleasing. But that's not the reason we were there that day, it was not worth the drive from Puebla to Cholula. But, it's always good to try new things and places. So, if you're close by, I think it's one of the "nicest" places to have breakfast at. :/

It's a good hotel which is full of children and families, it is a big property with some activities to do with friends or children. I stayed with some friends at the two bedroom suite everything was ok and the food is ok too. It is not a great hotel but believe it or not is one of the best in Cholula.

We had a wonderful stay here. Well located, friendly staff, nice rooms. We would stay there again no doubt. Go visit the zocalo in San Pedro 10 minute drive and have some enchildadas con mole poblano at the portales, you wont regret it at all friends!

We stayed there for one night because the archeological zone is walking distance. The room was nice although had musty smell and the bed was not comfortable. The restaurant was nice the food was very good, the Internet was not great but ok, and the service was really good.

This hotel was much nicer than I anticipated, since the photos didn't show much. Immaculately clean, wonderful restaurant with a covered outdoor terrace next to the pool and good food. I had huevos motulenos for breakfast, which not every restaurant can do well, and they were terrific. Our room was nice with a really great bathroom and shower with plenty of hot water. The front desk was very pleasant in accommodating our early arrival. Only wish I'd brought my bathing suit, as the pool looked inviting, but our purpose there was to visit the pyramid and the 2 incredible churches and we only had one day. The wi-fi connection was perfect and fast. I would definitely stay here again.
