Super 8 O'Hare/Chicago/Elk Grove Village

The room was nice as you could expect for the price. Not a bad hotel with pretty good location.

Great place to stay if flying out of O'HARE or visit with relatives and to downtown Chicago. Great price for stay as well as park and fly.

I checked in Wednesday 8/23/17. showered and met a friend for dinner. Came back to the room by 8pm. There were ants on the floor and I was in room 203 second floor. I went to bed and woke up with pain in my right hand. By the time I got home to Michigan. I had to go to the ER, for my hand was swollen and painful. The doctor stated it was a spider bite and my hand was infected. I'm on 1350mg of Penicillin for 7 days. Will never stay at this or any other Super 8.

Nice room but bad to access from the highway due to a divider in the middle of the road

Was the host hotel for the Petersen tournament but would have stayed at a closer Super 8 if it was on the list. This hotel was too far away.

We stay here whenever we fly out of O'Hare airport. Always quiet, and dependable transportation to and from the airport.

Got stuck in Chicago as my flight got canceled. PROS: Relatively cheap vs. comp hotels in the area Within 15min drive to airport Very Friendly staff Free shuttle to and from airport Free breakfast from 6-9am Bed is firm and comfortable CONS: Room seemed dirty, but carpets are older so you can't really see the stains. Hotel is dated Bed blanket had a blood stain Television brightness was so dark, could hardly watch shows and unable to change since it's a generic remote Bottom line: If you're used to staying at hotels with big white fluffy comforters, this ain't the place for you. If you just need a place to crash - just make sure to keep at least your socks on while you walk around. there aren't any slippers or robes for you to use here.

near the airport . that is it nothing special about staying there

Bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, and it was nice to have the pool.

Most of the staff are very rude and unprofessional. I am fine with outdated decor. But toilet didn't flash well...even a small piece of toilet didn't go until I flashed 4-5 time, sink was clogged, big hole on the carpet.... Sorry but I don't have anything to write good about this place. I am fine if it's get what you pay for but this experience was didn't get what I paid for. Stay somewhere else if you could.

exactly what we needed. Close to the airport, clean rooms, longterm parking (extra cost), airport shuttle and friendly staff

Good location with decent amenities. clean room. the person serving in the breakfast area was not friendly. Overall good place to stay.

Great hotel. Easy access to Ohare airport. They have a shuttle. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great location with easy on and off the freeway to get to an from my daughters campus apartment to help her move in. The large parking lot was a must as we were towing a trailer with apartment furniture. Only disappointment was no room mini fridge. The Super 8 in Morton Grove has the same rate per night and a fridge.

My wife and I stayed overnight and left our car there for 4 days. It cost us $10 a day to leave our car which I thought was a little high. We were transported to the airport which took about 15 minutes at 6:30 AM promptly. We were picked up promptly from the airport when we arrived and it took about 25 minutes to get back to the Hotel mainly because of traffic. Overall we had a good comfortable night sleep and a light breakfast in the morning before leaving for the airport.

Standard cheap hotel. Wasn't the cleanest but everything necessary was there. I enjoyed that I got free breakfast and there was a coffeemaker, microwave, and refrigerator in the room. Great value for all the inclusions, even if it was a little grimy.

Great place, kudos to the staff, shuttle rides where a definite plus.

My husband and I stayed here the night before we flew from O'Hare. The hotel was just ok. Even though their was only 2 other cars in the parking lots, they placed us in a room that was down a long hallway and at the end of another long highway. It was kind of a ways away from the lobby...which isn't a huge deal, but it meant that we didn't get Wi-Fi in the room and couldn't check email unless we made the two hallway lengths trek to the lobby. It was pretty cold out and so our room was cold too and the heater couldn't keep up. The bathroom was COLD as the outdoors! A hot shower felt good, but the minute you turned the water off...you were freezing! I think if we'd had a different room, it would have been better experience. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. No bars or restaurants within walking distance. The shuttle was ok...except that we walked the two hallways to the lobby and arrived at 10:20 for the 10:30 shuttle. The front desk clerk said that we just missed the shuttle. It left early because they had a client that needed to catch a flight...which is not a huge deal, but it meant we had to wait 40 minutes for the 11:00 shuttle. We made it to the airport just fine and it was ok. All in all...we didn't pay much for this hotel and we got pretty much the standards you would expect for the price. It was fine for an airport shuttle stay, but I wouldn't stay here for any other reason.

When I checked in, I was informed that I had to pay a $20 pet fee. Why was this fee not disclosed when I purchased the room. Room dirty and electronic key did not work.

For the price, nothing beats this place if you want to stay for a short duration.
