Super 8 Chicago

The facility itself is old. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. However, the water pressure in the shower was poor and the temperature of the water was impossible to control. It was scalding hot but if you put on the cold at all, the water was freezing. The shower was also so small it was hard to turn around. Oftentimes, the shower is what makes a hotel stay pleasing as you can get clean and relax. Not the case here.

Dirty sheets. Outdated plumbing. Took me five minutes to adjust the temperature of the shower. Non smoking room still smelled like smoke. Breakfast was okay.

The staff at this hotel just couldn't be more friendly. I stay here every time I visit Chicago. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. I love the staff - always helpful and very nice. The location is perfect because it's close to my son's home. This is the hotel me and my family always stay in when we visit.

Great place to stay if you are going to Wrigley Field. Not far from the train station in anyone cab ride if you can that way. Walking to many restaurants and bars

The guy working the front desk was very nice. The hallways are dirty and out dated. The hotel room was broke down, there were little repairs that needed to be done. The hotel room was very dirty.

Convenient location for our visit to Loyola, hotel staff was very helpful. Easy walking access to good food as well.

The room served our purpose, cheap, comfortable room. No frills, but then again we didn't pay for a luxury accommodations so didn't expect them. The room was clean and comfortable and at a good price. That was good enough for us, I would stay here again.

Hotel was in poor condition and in a rough area. Would not recommend this to anyone.

This is a Super 8 that has seen better days, but it's within walking distance to Loyola's lakefront campus and a great many things, including the red line and several express buses downtown. The walls are paper thin, and the whole place is drab, but if you can book a room here for cheaper than a downtown place, you should know it's convenient for travelers without a car (and will give you a chance to explore Rogers Park and Edgewater neighborhoods, full of cafes and bars, bookstores, ethnic restaurants, etc.)

This hotel is located at the North side of Chicago, however, really close from Metro and bus stations. We really like the fact that the place was really clean and the kitchen was perfectly clean and they had good breakfast (basic) choices, which is one of the things we care about. The hotel itself and the room, were a little outdated but, really clean and confortable. Good deal for the price we paid and We will certainly comeback in the future.

It's an okay place to sleep. A little overpriced, but good location.

Lives that my car was safe in their garage and parking was free

We stayed there for 3 nights and it was a nice place to rest. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was generally helpful and friendly. The bus/train ride into the city was a bit long (35 min to 45 min), but that's why we were able to pay much less than staying somewhere in downtown Chicago. Overall, a pretty good deal and we enjoyed our stay.

You get what you pay for! Good conditions & friendly staff !

Spent 4 days 3 nights here.Just needed somewhere to sleep at nights,Breakfast great, rooms clean, service good, For this price more than we expected, Bus ride takes about 45mins to the heart of everything.Would stay there again.

Good Location -easy to get to downtown. Free parking. Close to bus /train transportation.

Nice people, close to train line. Quiet, safe area.

We were pleased with the staff and with the accomodations. It is a small building in a residential area and met our needs well. It was convenient to the main Chicago and Evanston locations that we were interested in. It has a small parking lot and a small elevator, but if you can be adaptable, it is a good value. If you want large common areas expect to pay large rates.

This motel is located near shopping, entertainment, and eating. Nice neighborhood. Parking could be better but, everything else is good.

Fine for where it is located, clean and large rooms.
