Great location, walkable to many sights, groceries, and an el stop. I appreciated the security visible on some nights. One night a neighbor started blasting music and within 60 seconds security was knocking on their door. I don’t know how they got there that fast! Only downside, I didn’t have a closet. It looked like there was one by the door, but it was locked so couldn’t hang clothes. I was able to access files and email for work with no problem, but when I tried to stream to my iPad I got some buffering, so not sure how the WiFi would work for video calls.
If I had to give a critique I would say that it would have been better if there was more than one set of linens in the room and if there was someone at the property to actually speak with in case there are any issues.
Great stay at this Sonder. A 10 minute Uber right to Field, Shedd, and Chicago Art Institute. There’s a nice grocery store a 5 minute walk up the street. The property itself was modern, clean and secure.
I was given the wrong room and despite that, I was charged for "cleaning" after switching to a different room. Disappointed.
