Very nice hotel in a great location. Staff were very accommodating.

The manager on duty was very professional. As far as the rest of the employees I can’t speak is hailee about the parking situation was incredibly frustrating and the valet service was terrible. But the overall stay in the amenities in the actual property itself was fantastic

Room quality and view was sub-par

We stayed here due to its proximity to the Contemporary Art Museum. We caught them during a comprehensive remodel, so they were not at their best by any means. Staff was friendly, but amenities were largely closed. Big problem: signage from the street was impossible- probably due to all the scaffolding. couldn't locate the front door from a car, so we circled around where we thought it HAD to be for quite awhile.

Black mold in the bathroom. Lots of it. The staff didn’t care when I reported it. Had to insist on a new room. Still coughing and sneezing after my stay there. One employee told me that he had stayed there a few weeks ago and was coughing and sneezing too. The board of health needs to get involved.

We really enjoyed our stay, excellent hotel, would love to stay again.

It was hard to find the location because they are having construction done. There was not a name outside their location and when you are not from Chicago, that can be very confusing. I overheard the employee ask of all rooms were okay to assign, and then she gave me a room with no air conditioner. It was 82 degrees. I went down to the front desk and told them I had to leave because it was too hot and they said that they would work on it while we were gone. I have a 16 month baby and it felt horrible. I came back and nothing was done. We sat in the room for almost 2 years, feeling miserable. There was a lot of confusion with fixing the issue. I went to the front and waited for them to fix the issue. They reassigned us to a new room. They did upgrade us with no cost. I just wish all this would have been fixed quicker.

The hotel location is great but you don’t get housekeeping service even if you ask for it, and the front desk staff are rude and they don’t care to give a good service.

My room didn’t have cold water in the shower. I reported it twice when I asked what happened they told me that I was wrong that the “engineers” all to be ok. I almost burnt my scalp in the shower. My sons room was worse. When he opened the shower, black water came out. He took pictures and showed to manager. They finally moved him to another room and credited the room fee. The price per room on orbitz was reasonable, only to find out that there was another $35 per room per night for “amenities” - whatever that was. There was also $72 registration fee 😳. All not included in the room rate

It need renovation. The mattresses were two old. No big mirror, not enough light.

Luca: When you pay in advance, you are paying for the Room and Taxes. The Hotel charges a separate fee that can only be collected at the Hotel. These fees are fully disclosed on all of our Booking Partner websites, and we check these sites several times a week to make sure they are disclosed.With the Amenities fee, there are numerous discounts around the city that would more than recoup the cost if you utilized them all.These discounts are good for one year after your stay. I encourage you to utilize them!

Thank you for the kind words about our staff! Parking is definitely a problem here in this area, as we do not own the parking garage, but contract parking out to the Valet service. I will speak to them about being more customer friendly!
