Did not have the promised rooms. One room was handicapped, other was supposed to be adjacent with a table and four chairs. 2nd room was on same floor, not adjacent and did not have the chair or table as pictured.

Close to shopping, comfortable, easy to find, nice hot tub, nice towels

Title says it all, my only complaint is our room didn't even have Number Placard. It was written on the wall in pen.

We knew we were booking a 2 star hotel so we did not expect a full service hotel or anything beyond a comfortable room and clean hotel. Even with the low expectations, we were disappointed with the entire experience. The room could never have housed 5 people although this was the room selected for our family of 5. Hotel staff tried to be accommodating but their best solution was to provide extra blankets and pillows so one of us could sleep on the floor. All other hotels in the area were sold out and we had pre-paid so moving was not an option. Finally someone was able to locate a roll-away bed mattress but it was torn and had a huge brown stain so I slept in the desk chair. The room was worn and dirty. Hotel smelled like cigarette smoke. Pool area was a mess of used towels and hair. Common areas were in need of updates and a good scrubbing as well. The freindliness of the staff and the proximity to Six Flags were the only positives

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Illinois. We were there to watch my son graduate from boot camp. The location of the hotel was perfect, they had directions to base, put breakfast out early so everyone cold eat and leave on time. We enjoyed the closed in pool & hot tub because the weather was cooler.

The only thing that me and my wifey didnt is the pool we had a lil girl in the pool by her self for three hour alone and when we left and came back she was there with no one they should do better on check the pool

Checkin was a breeze. Very friendly staff. Was close to lots of restaurants and just about 15-20 minutes from gate 8 for the graduation. When I told them breakfast started too late for us to get to the graduation, they put it out earlier! Room was very nice and clean. Was able to use the pool only for a short time but it was also nice. Bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

Overall, we enjoyed our stay but a few misunderstandings made it stressful a few times. We began checking in and moving out belongings to 3 different rooms later, we finally got settled in the room we would stay in for 2 nights. The front desk associate informed is that the travel agency we booked through gave the hotel the wrong information for the kind of room we needed. They first put us non-smokers in a smoking room with two beds when we requested one king-size bed. The next room was non-smoking with a double bed because we were told there was no king size suite available. Then after moving out stuff a second time. We were informed that a king size was now cleaned and available. Lucky for is, our children were very patient. The next misunderstanding was the next morning. Housekeeping asked if we needed any service. I said yes but asked her to please wait 20 minutes bc we were getting ready to leave. She said okay but looked confused. So when I was leaving the hotel I told the front desk associate and they said okay. That will be done for you. When we returned nothing was done. We called the front desk and they told us housekeeping was gone for the day and they were sorry it didn't get done. They had the trash emptied and gave us new towels but no vacuuming was done. (We had a pet with us). One unfortunate thing that occurred was we stayed on New Years eve and there were people drinking beer inside the pool while we took our children to swim. Nothing was done about that.

we stayed for a visit to gurnee mills and great America, it is definitely full of families, so the pool was very busy and LOUD !! The front desk girl couldn't have been nicer or more informative !! W e had the breakfast, there were many people there but there was plenty of food and the girl working the area kept it clean and supplied !! Thw Wi-Fi is a definite plus too !!

great place if you want to go to Great America although it is a little far to walk. The breakfast is great. Rooms had some small issues like rust in the bathroom but minimal

This hotel was fine; we stayed there to get to Great America. Unlike some lower priced hotels, it was further and not walk-able from Great America. The bathroom was not pristine but fine. The breakfast was EXCELLENT: waffles, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, fresh juice, bagels, etc. etc. The pool is fine, small, and there is a hot tub.

Easy to get in and out of. Stains on blankets. Continental breakfast is just waffles you cook. Go to IHOP across the street. Nice restaurants within walking distance.

I requested a non smoking room and got smoke coming from a different floor through the vents.the elevator was extremely slow. there was also mold in the shower .

I had everything I needed for my two-night solo stay. Comfortable and clean. Better than average tv selection, good-enough internet service. I stay here whenever I can get the price I want.

Good pool, good hot tub, close to good shopping and some wonderful dining establishments. Friendly and helpful staff. Great continental breakfast.

Booked 3 rooms for one night. Non-smoking floor was smoky.

Stayed at LaQuinta to be close to my sons graduation from Navy basic training and the location was perfect. The only thing we were a little disappointed with was that there was no fridge in the room. One reason we also booked here is because it's pet friendly and better than that there is no extra charge for having a pet. Staff was very helpful land friendly!

I am so sorry that your room was missing its number sign. That particular rooms sign is consistently missing as the number amuses some guests . I am glad that the rest of your experience was favorable and I assure you we will be getting some more signs in soon!

close to six flags but that's all
